I am still continuing my blog prediction project and frankly my financial predictions for 2014 were no better than chance. Politically/mundane-wise for 2014 I did better, but it is January 2015 that thrilled me and prevented me giving up!!

Since I started the project in 2007 few countries have been less exciting to predict than Switzerland and Saudi. But this is what I wrote for Switzerland, for January 2015 ( I use the same chart for the country and the currency).

The situation does start to change in 2015. The picture becomes more mixed, with some unexpected upsets in the first two months which might cause some re-evaluation.

2015 starts with another big, big change in the country?s position, there is a more or less permanent weakening of the more authoritarian elements. With the issue of leadership again highlighted, one wonders whether there is a new leader at this time.

And we all know what happened, though the authoritarian comment might be misplaced...... we'll see.
