Two of the Brighton races napped by astrogooner yesterday were Handicaps and suitable for Sepharial's Eclipse method.

14:50 Major Pusey 3rd of 5 runners at 100/30.

15:50 Pick A Little 1st 6/1

Today's 15:10 Chester Cup is an interesting race.

Looking at horse natal charts and the event itself, Mymatechris looked interesting, but there are a fair few others worthy of further consideration.

Sepharial's Eclipse gives Angel Gabrial.

Going back to the 1000 Guineas, here is the biwheel for the race chart with the noon chart for Legatissimo, which shared its birth day with Qualify. I hoped to post this Monday, but forgot Monday was a bank holiday!

All very close. Need to pay more attention to the race PoF.

I've included everything in this bi-wheel, and now see many positive connections. The problem with that race was so many horses with possibilities astrologically - the lesson I've learned is to avoid races like that.

In this method I am testing I won't paying much attention to the POF, or to house cusps, which could vary according to he house system used. I am focussing on strong planetary connections only. It is not to be expected that this could yield perfect results, because as Graham notes there are other, probably more important charts that are not being considered, in addition to the fact that we don't have personalised details of the horses. It is interesting to throw the rider of Legatissimo into the mix - Ryan Moore has the Sun at 24 Virgo, and his chart connects really well with that of the horse and the time of the event. But I am lucky if I an find an hour to look at all the horse charts, so for now this is a starting point for me to see if this approach has benefits and increases the odds of picking out winners over time.

5th semisextiles Angular Moon, Quincunx Sun - gabriel is a Moon name and there are 3 Gabriel horses in this race. They are all locally trained and have reasonable form. My astro-nap is Gabriel's King.

Chester is a very tight track, so you need a horse that has a low draw and a short stride. From a punters point of view I quite fancy Buthelezi.

Absolutely agree. For serious work you need to be able to look at each horse's chart properly. If there are more than, say, 10 runners this gets difficult. With the best will in the world, you will skimp the analysis if there are 25 runners.

That's assuming that this method works better than any other. The proof will be results over a period of time.

For example a horse may well have it's jupiter on an angle in a chart could mean that it's been over handicapped or that finishing say, 4th in a group race might very well represent it's greatest achievement. I'm not knocking it, I'm just asking questions about it before declaring it as gospel.

The first aspect is a semi sextile to the Moon.
