27 by Mjacob May have to reconsider the settlement on Sunday sooner than thought. The IMF say that Greek debt repayment be put on hold for 30 years. That is not kicking the can down the road it is sending it into transplutonic orbit Matthew Goulding Quote Wed Jul 15, 2015 12:46 pm
28 by geo Hi Jacob. Not sure what your point is. There has recently been published the outcome of an independent comittee appointed by the Greek parliament, regarding not the sustainability but the very legitimacy of Greece's debt. 60-70% of greek debt has been proved to be illegal. Of course none of the country's lender's talks about this, what's more the IMF. The Greek government has neither claimed its right sofar. Anyway, I'd like to post today's new moon, see how things are developping. By now, many leading ministers have denied voting the new bailout proposal and have resigned. Even if the proposal is voted with the aid of the opposition, elections will be unavoidable. For the time being, mr Scheuble has successfully managed to divide the only stable, uncorrupted and growing political party that was capable to deliver true change in Greece, Syriza. 15 deg of Cancer prominent again! Mercury = ASc ruler soo tighlty conj Mars + opp Pluto. 2H emphasis and Neptune right on the MC. Tsipras' sacrifice? I keep repeating: I don't like cardinal Mercury-Mars-Pluto so tightly aspected!! 29 by james_m regarding the 340 pm local inauguration time for tsipras chart - i see the pluto/uranus/nodal axis pattern on the angles as very central to all the shocks that this new gov't has either initiated or on the receiving end of since taking office.. i attribute this to uranus on the south node and elevated over the rest of the chart.. that the european currency bank is calling the shots, or worse that countries within europe that are a part of this ''currency'' union no longer have the ability to control their monetary policy is summed up well in pluto on the descendant of this same chart.. these are the powers that tsipras and company have been trying to work with.. it won't work.. if a country borrows in euros, they have to pay back in euros.. greece and a number of other european countries are signing onto a situation whereby they have to give over their natural resources or whatever else they have of any value in exchange to service there foreign currency debt.. if they were to go back to the drachma - it would be better - but the transition will be difficult to happen and the same interests in greece and other countries losing their financial autonomy, will continue to want to see them in a position of slave to foreign currency debt.. the 8th house sun is the sect light.. the 8th house is about shared resources.. not sure what greece gets to share when they don't have control over their financial situation! i was looking at the 2014 libra ingress which i believe will have some say over the election of tsipras in january 2015.. 2014 aries ingress had cardinal rising which according to mundane rules suggests using the libra ingress for the remainder of the 2014 year up til the aries 2015 ingress. in the libra 2014 chart one notes moon in taurus - ruling over the 2nd house of the chart and the sect light - in direct opposition to saturn in scorpio - which in turn rules over the 8th house.. it seems this ongoing financial conflict will continue on until such time as a complete breakdown of the euro happens, or other euro countries recognize where they are ultimately going to find themselves situated financially speaking.. jupiter retro in tsipras inauguration chart and in the 2nd sign/house doesn't seem to be of any real value whatsoever... the sun in aq in 8th is ruled by saturn in sag in the 6th which in turn is ruled by jupiter in leo in the 2nd and back again.. closed circuit with all 3 in poor position house wise, r any of them to act with any strength seems difficult to impossible, but saturn would seem to have the upper hand.. it rules over the sun/mercury and venus while having a direct say on the 7th and 8th houses too.. in terms of when anything will change - i keep on circling back to the ingress charts for 2016 that involve the square of jupiter/saturn with mars in the mutable signs of these 2 planets as well. these are the 3 superior planets that suggest 2016 as a pivotal year as we move closer to the year 2020 which holds the saturn/pluto and jupiter/saturn conjunctions as well.. what i get from what i read is that using these conjunction charts - specifically jupiter/saturn - was also a means of getting a better understanding of what is important or not in all of these charts.. understanding the hierarchy of the charts is a complicated matter.. obviously eclipse charts and full moon/ new moon charts can be included in all this as well... 30 by Mjacob Hi Geo I was not making a point but pointing out a piece of news that could be relevant. I have opinions about this but try not to express them In the chart you post Mars is at least rising from under the beams. I took Mars to represent the struggle of the Greek people in the ingress chart so here he is weak but is moving to orientality thus gaining in strength. Venus I took be success in diplomacy. She applies to malefic Saturn but soon turns retrograde towards Jupiter who was in the eighth house in the ingress so maybe things get better in relation to the debt Matthew ps - My wordhoard does not provide a term for a similtaneous emotion of sadness and anger so do not take this as light-hearted when I remind members of a piece of advice from domestic economics " When you owe the bank ?1000 you are in trouble - when you owe the bank ? 1000 000 the bank is in trouble Matthew Goulding Quote Wed Jul 15, 2015 8:44 pm
31 by geo Matthew, my apologies, I didn't mean to offend or blame you. I am afraid I easily lose my temper these days - the forum being no exception to this. Politics have been very thick and emotional down here lately. The bailout deal was voted by the Greek government, early this morning (2a.m.), just 2 hours before the new moon. This new moon in Cancer, dignified by rulership, rules both 2H (the state's money and resources) and the people. It makes one and only aspect -the easiest one, trine- to Saturn (in Moon's fall) = 8H (lender's money). This I think sadly denotes how easily the lender takes it all: the recources (public property, energy supplies) + the common people (low wages, taxes etc) One more thing I'd like to add is about Pluto on DC in Tsipra's inauguration chart. We should not forget Pluto's association to power and transformation; Tsipras has been "beaten up" 5 months now, the subject of violence by others (Pluto in DC). By 13/15 July, the tight aspect between Mercury-Mars-Pluto as mentioned in earlier post, which perfectly fits the ASC-DC axis of his inaug chart, in my opinion may turn the 'victim' to 'abuser', a kind of Stockholm syndrome perhaps. After 5 months of police absence or 'soft' attitude, yesterday night in Syntagma square (where people gathered to protest against the deal) they were back: violent and determined.
