Grand National 2016 26 by Simon Howe Venus is in Aries angular in the Seventh house. A woman in a man's world. The only woman in the race is Katie Walsh, a highly competent rider of more than one contest at Cheltenham. She is riding Ballycasey wearing pink with green spots. Mercury ruling the press in a mundane chart is in Taurus thus deposited by Venus. Is this who they are going to be writing about at the end of the race? Quote Sat Apr 09, 2016 6:20 am
27 by GB Although there are too many runners to look at them all, I have looked at the race transits to a few of the horses' natal charts. Wonderful Charm stands out again: Race Venus trine natal Mars. Race Moon conjunct natal Venus (what we might call the horse's 'name' planet). Race Sun-Uranus conjunction square (2 degrees) natal Jupiter. We will see. Quote Sat Apr 09, 2016 11:08 am
29 by Jupiterhead Well done Astrogooner; well done Addey. That bloody Sun square... If it's not astronomically true, it's not astrologically true. Quote Sat Apr 09, 2016 4:30 pm
31 by ModWasp Oh dear, the anti. of POF is sextile Mercury in the 8th house. Whatever that means... Thumbs up No new glue factory deliveries? Grats, PA! - We DO live in a plutocratic world after all! Verum e Quote Sat Apr 09, 2016 4:50 pm

35 by PallasAthene Thanks guys. That must be my first public prediction that came true! I do like Addey's method. It's straight forward and getting to grips with the symbolism improves your astrology. : ) Quote Sun Apr 10, 2016 12:33 pm

Yes, in Campanus, sun just manged to stay in 7th by a few seconds. 15 out of 38 horses finished the race, which is about average and no injuries. 4 horses died in other races though - 2 x 16:05 on both Thurs and Fri. Campanus Sun in 8th and 5th cusp at critical degrees. I'm looking at the chart for a (very) young jockey to win. I wonder if Uranus cazimi Sun is the "surprise"? He went on to win the race immediately after as well! Quote Sun Apr 10, 2016 1:11 pm
