Need help with this chart. Particularly wondering if Saturn prohibits or collects the light here? And is Moon translating light between Mercury and Jupiter? The significators are Mercury and Jupiter, its a relationship question. Querent wondered if she would see this man from her past again and potential for a relationship again.

Mercury and Jupiter are in mutual reception, opposition, so there is interest between them. But to me Saturn prohibits the aspect.

Moon seems to translate between them though, however Moon is still applying to the 1st planet, so not a classical translation of light. But I believe this is translation of light, especially as Moon is dignified. It would just mean delay in the matter the thing that would bring them together has not materialised yet. Its sort of still in the air.

What would be the timing? 10 months?

A few comments:

Yes, the Moon is going to ToL between Mercury and Jupiter, by sextile and trine. She may see the man if she does something about it. However the Moon is in house 8 so it appears that this is all only in her mind and she cannot/will not act. The point is that it will need her action or else it will not happen.

The Saturn aspect is after the ToL so I would disregard it.

As far as potential for relationship is concerned we must look at receptions to answer that.

Jupiter and Mercury show the potential of being in love: in one another's sign AND the signs being the signs on their own house cusps. I would disregard the opposition on that account. Venus is heading into Jupiter's sign and her own exaltation.

The Sun however, will be a mixed bag. It exalts Venus, great. But it is in the detriment and fall of Mercury. This chart is a potential recipe for some hot sensuous love, but there may be some personality problems. Not uncommon at all?

If the question was not about timing I do not usually trust any timing that may be in a chart. But for the sake of study, yes about ten time units. 10 weeks is about now. It could be 10 months. Or the timing could not be there at all.

However, the aspect trumps everything. If there is no action nothing else in the chart matters really.

An extra comment: suppose the Moon is really interested in his money (Venus) then being in house 8 is not a problem. I mention this only to illustrate that we must now the context properly in order to answer properly.

No I doubt querent has interest in his money, but I wonder if the 8th is about anxiety? That is, if she has to take action, and as far as I know things have not been good between them, so taking action herself is not what I see her doing, but you never know.

Nothing has developed as of yet, so I think it might be 'months'.
