Here we are again. Voluntary Severance (VS) was offered late 2014 by my employer, I could not decide whether to take it or not. In the end I decided to apply but unfortunately, was refused.

I believe Jupiter slowing down to turn retrograde and dominating the ascendant represented my employer going back on their offer.

As of next year, my employer will need to make further cuts over the next three years, from approximately 7 to 12% of their overall budget. I would therefore like to know that if VS was offered again if employees in my section would be released. So really, it's a two part question - will they offer VS, and if so, will my section be able to be released. Since that time I have been promoted and the job is no longer taking such a toll on me. However, I don't want to stay here long term and the VS would be a lot more money this time around for me, potentially life changing, at least it would allow me to make steps to make significant changes. I would not hesitate to take the offer this time, so really I'd like to know if it's worth hanging around till next April or so which is when our financial year starts and the VS is likely to be organised or whether I should just apply for new jobs now while I'm feeling motivated (although things are better, there's a chance things will become dispiriting again because, as said, I don't want to be here long term).
Moon separating from Jupiter and applying to trine sun, then it will conjunct my significator, mars. Mercury as ruler of MC is under the beams and peregrine, perhaps reflecting the fact that they are in a bad condition, under-resourced and continually having to scale back. Mercury will conjunct venus, L11, wages, then will trine Saturn and then square mars.

Jupiter's on the midheaven overcoming saturn. Is that necessarily good as it's a benefic overcoming a malefic?

In any case, I'm thinking this is a 'no' seeing as there is the prohibition of venus applying to mars (L11, money from the employer coming to me).

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Had it confirmed Wednesday- no VS will be offered at this time.
