I'm leaning towards a draw as it looks a bit iffy for both Newcasle and Man City but I'm glad I don't have to make up my mind about it, let alone conjuring up a scoreline like some of you

That's interesting, thanks Dan. The Moon is 18 Cancer in tonight's chart but, as you say, the stats don't generally look good for Newcastle. How do they look for Man City away?

For Man. City it's slightly better for a Win or a Draw - talking about Moon in Cancer. If I will have too look only to M.City I would say that a draw is the most probably to happend. But correlated with Newcastle increase chance to lose I will go for a M.City win.

I will give the hot chocolate and whiskey to ManC and put my pennies on Newcastle.

Andrew, are you sure Moon is hour ruler? According to SolarFire it is Mercury, with the Moon hour being 9 mins away.

The Sun is 26LI46. The cusp of the 6th is according to Regiomontanus at 29LI13. This puts the Sun in the 2nd half of the 5th house, which is ruled by the lord/lady of the Day. The Day is Monday, therefore I apply the Moon as lady of the hour.

The game's started and yet another Red Card in the early minutes of the game.
'Castle down to 10 players and City 1 goal up. Oh well, this will probably be yet a belmish in my soccer skills, but let's wait till the ref blows the final whistle.

It's 2-2 and a draw!! That IS a satisfactory result for all and congratulations to SusieN! This game had everything! Red Card, own goal, Newcastle equalizing and taking the lead with only 10 men!

Pity all of tomorrow's games in the Champion League start the same time! I am wondering whether these red cards are coming from the Sun's application to Pluto by sextile through signs of long ascension. This aspect has the tendency to go in too boldly and forceful. We could see a fight tomorrow?

Interesting method. I have been using the simple divide sunrise to sunset by 12 and divide sunset to sunrise by 12, so each day hour is the same length and each night hour is the same length. Your method depends on the domification system used. I wonder if you could provide a reference to where your method is discussed as I thought the simple divide by 12 was the standard.

I am very proud of Newcastle's efforts - they are brave little soldiers, aren't they? But I got my prediction wrong nonetheless, I settled on a 1-0 win for them.

But I do agree with Andrew - a 2-2 draw is a very good result for all concerned. Well done Gem - the hot chocolate and whiskey must have done you the world of good! Ficina, John - did you go for a draw?

I thought you said you were going for a 2-1 win for Manchester City Susie, which is what my husband had, so I stuck with that (great astrological reasoning -eh?, husband and Susie both said the same thing.)

I'm not too surprised in the result but it is so annoying to be just one goal wrong but three whole points out

BTW, Steve said he's fed up of me laughing when I tinker with his predictions and get better results than he does. So he said next week I have to come up with all my own score predictions, and then he'll tinker around with a few of those to see if he gets better results than I do

I had a conscience attack about half an hour before the game started, so I threw caution to the wind and gave N'Castle the win I thought I saw in the chart, but cautiously so

I think it's quite a feat to get such a draw when you're playing one man short, so in my own little detrimented mind, I feel somewhat vindicated in my reasoning. And I'm sure that NC are more than happy with their efforts, so this draw might feel like a victory to them

I've just had a peek at the coming weekends charts - in the ones from 15:00 onward L1 is in the 7th house - according to John Frawley a sure sign of defeat! Right this moment, I've spent more than my allotted 10 minutes on the charts already, and I've only got 5 predictions.

Have you guys looked at the Chelsea-Liverpool chart? L1 is in H7 here too, in MR with L4, and trining L10?!?

Deb, I'd love to hear what your husband predicts here, at the moment I've gone for draw, simply because I'm sitting on the fence. So much Libra in the chart - yes fence-sitting might be the very thing. Maybe the Liverpool players will all look very beautiful that day, or maybe they'll wear pink:-)

Maybe I should toss a coin for this one.
