I hope we continue to show results!! I am working my head off at the moment, but it is quite exciting.

Some of the observations we have gathered may make sense in the end, but there is still a lot of work to be done. Finding those matches that provide conditions where we can test out what we have learnt is like working through a jigsaw. If we have to sort through 2-3 dozen matches to find the game that provide those ideal conditions at a good price - it can still be done. Matches priced under 1,5:1 aren't really attractive. It takes a lot of favourites to build up a good price - and these matches still seem to go wrong. The favourites can't be bothered to send out hteir best players.

There are a lot of International friendlies to look forward to on Wednesday. In one sense these matches do not represent a true contest, because they don't mean anything. However, the favourites might feel more inclined to relax and experiment with new players, while the underdos could see the opportunity to win some honour and glory. [Any opinions on the Part of Spirit?] I thought I'd start working on this now because Norway is playing away against Ukraine with the odds 1,85 3,40 4,25 and are pretty desparate to win a match, or else their manager, Aage Hareide, will be looking for a new job.

The game is played in the hour of the Moon and the chart is not radical. The Moon casts its antiscia to POF, but because of the question of radicality we have the favourites under doubt. Saturn, L7, is 20VI13 and casts it's antiscia most perfectly to the MC. This means it could be quite an exciting match and victory to the Brits fetches home a decent price.

Many of the friendlies have individual starting times. If we can pick out a few games, maybe we can work out a good strategy?

Northampton/Leeds is an interesting chart. Since this is a replay, someone has to win. The dual role of the Moon is confusing. Being VOC it might indicate a stalemate after 90 mins or as L1 it could also mean the end of the road for Northampton as far as the FA Cup is concerned. The Moon actually changes sign midway through the second half and I wonder if this will alter the course of the game in some way.

Mercury (L4) trine MC is a fairly reliable testimony for an away team win. The trine to the Asc is rather confusing but if it's seen as a sextile to the Desc, then this would also favour the away team. I'll go for a Leeds win.

Yes, so L4 is a second significator for the away team and L10 for the home team.

I've also noticed that Moon aspects to L4 or L10 indicate that the respective teams will score (as I mentioned in the previous encounter between Leeds and Northampton).

Games Tuesday evening
All the England games, Bluesquare and FA Cup, have the same starting time this evening. I notice the the Moon is exactly conjunct the Moon's South node at 13LE15. Golly, my natal Sun is 13LE221... What to do?

Southend (League 1) are up against Telford United in the FA Cup. I'm staying away from this game. Telford have a reputation as giant killers!

Betting Strategies
I am including an example and exercise in betting strategies. There's not much astrology involved this evening but in my opinion even with the help of astrology a sensible betting strategy is still the key to success. This eveing there are four games worth considering in this example:

A) Torquay - Lewes Odds: 1,27 5,00 8,00

The Torquay game seems to be this evenings safest bet, so by reason I will use this game in combination with the other games in a series of three duplets. Put ?2 on each of the duplet combinations A1) Odds: 1,90 A2) Odds: 2,03 A3) Odds: 2.22 - total ?6. Taking height for the possibility that one combination may be wrong, the two winning duplet will still give a return that averages at ?4. Your return is ?8 and you have a ?2 profit (33%) on your initial stake. If all the games are correct then you have received a ?12 return - no problem!

There are three triplets available A12) Odds: 3,05 A13) Odds: 3,33 and A23) Odds: 3,56. Assuming that you want to keep risk low to avoid loosing money and that there is one game wrong somewherealong the line, your present profits are ?2 from the duplets - this can be staked on the triplets. Put 66p on each triplet - if one of the four games we have chosen to play this evening is in fact wrong (with exception of the Torquay win), then you still get your money back on one triplet and your evening ends with a ?2 profit. If, however, you have got all four games right, then you have hit the jackpot and your total return will be ?12 on the singles and ?9 on the triplets = total ?21!!

The initial investment is ?6 on the duplets and ?2 on the triplets, total ?8. This is in my opnion the strategy that provides lowest risk. With one game wrong you make ?2. With all the games correct you make ?13!!
