Last week Tulsa did put up a good game for the first three quarters but Houston took advantage of favorable turnovers and won the game 41-26
Georgia Tech. was a surprise and dominated Louisville 66-31. This week we have Arizona at Utah on Friday night.
Utah is the 1st. Taurus and Venus. Arizona is the 7th. Scorpio and Mars.

Venus is peregrine and retrograde in the 6th. house.
Mars is exalted by terms and face in the 10th.

Jupiter is in the 7th. but is Void of Course and can offer no help. The Moon is also in the 7th. but is also peregrine.

Peregrine planets disturb me as they don't act the way it seems they should. I consider a peregrine Moon to almost be a stricture against judgment.

In this case, I'm going to lean toward the home team.

On Sunday night Green Bay should win against San Francisco.

Last week Utah had little trouble with Arizona winning 42-10
San Francisco put up a good game against Green Bay but the Packers won on a last-second field goal 33-30

After a great deal of research, I have decided that the 7th house is not correct for the away team. Instead, the away team should be the 9th house. I will post my conclusions at a later date and give the data and my logic.
From now on, I will use the 1st for the home team and the 9th for the away team. This week we have Denver at Arizona.

Arizona is the 1st. Taurus and Venus. Denver is the 9th. Capricorn and Saturn.
Venus is retrograde, peregrine on the cusp of the 7th. and in the Via Combusta.
Saturn is exalted by sign in its own house.

Saturn has better standing and dignity and favors the away team.

Denver should win.

Last week Denver had no trouble with Arizona, winning 45-10 This week we have Miami at Houston on Thursday night.

Houston is the 1st. Taurus and Venus. Miami is the 9th. Capricorn and Saturn.

Venus is exalted by terms in the 6th. Saturn is exalted by sign in the 8th.
The Moon is exalted by triplicity and face in the 1st. Pluto is in the visitor's house the 9th.

Since Saturn is in the 8th. that puts it in its own 12th.
Though Venus is in Scorpio I still favor the home team.

I really like that you are experimenting with different approaches.

And that you've posted your Success Rate. That's part of the reason I post my thoughts, just in case I try to forget when I have failures.

For me once Uranus, Neptune and Pluto had been discovered so so so much of the Ancient Stuff had to go out the Window.

I like the idea of factoring Jupiter for the Winner and Saturn for the Loser.

It'd need to be thought through, as NOT all Wins have Jupiter written on them.

And a Saturn approach can return dividends but in the end Winning does have a Joyous feel to it doesn't it.

I feel it is absolutely necessary, to be honest about things. No one can take your successes seriously unless you admit to your failures.

I decided to change the visitor from the 7th. to the 9th. because of hard research, I have done. I will post the results of this research later and I'm sure everyone will agree with my reasons.

The Buffalo held the game close until the closing minutes but New England ran away and won 25-6

Mars is exalted by face in the 11th. through a mutual reception with the Moon. Uranus is in the 1st. but is powerless because it is Void of Course.

Univ. of Pittsburgh was trailing going into the 2nd. half but came back and beat Virginia 23-13

Venus is exalted in the 6th. house. Saturn is exalted in the 8th.
Saturn being in the 8th. puts it in its own 12th. and it's own enemy.
There isn't really much help from the Moon or Pluto.

Pittsburgh easily handled Carolina 52-21.
Wake Forest trailed the whole game until the last minute when they scored a go-ahead touchdown and beat NC State 27-23.
Dallas never trailed and won an upset over Philadelphia 27-20.
This puts my overall record for the season at 18-9, for 66.7%.
Let's see if things will keep up.

Seattle beat Green Bay 27-24
Chicago beat Minnesota 25-20
The Rams pulled out a crazy game and beat Kansas City 54-51.
Houston had no trouble against Tulane 48-17.
Memphis beat SMU 28-18 and Texas played much better than expected, beating Iowa St. 24-10
This week lets try Green Bay at Minnesota.
