Not everyone would agree on using the non-luminary planets (though if I recall correctly, Valens does), but the angles, luminaries and Lot(s) are uncontroversial. As always, though, the potential risk is information overload, making actual prediction difficult.

Agree. But to simplify it, for a non-luminary or Lot, this would be the example of Mars-Saturn, a year when you have your Profected ASC in Aries, Scorpio, Capricorn or Aquarius. Or one of the 2 planets Angular in your SR. And Natal. Or your PD ASC travelling in a term of Saturn or Mars. Or Firdaria highlighting a Mars or Saturn period. And so on. Multiple significators adding up and pointing in the same direction.
