In Starlights Visual astrology newsletter A joint publication of: Astro Logos and Zyntara Publications there was an article about the hurricane that used the new moon 2 March 1718 as the birthchart since the exact date and time is unknown. I rather liked their decision factors. this would give a 15 Sagitarius 45 rising. and has Jupiter exhalted at 24 Pisces 49 in the 8th house Square Venus at 22 Aries 06 in its detriment in the 5th house. Also an interesting analogy from their perspective of new orleans.

I"m beginning to think that the event chart by itself is more useful here as just finding the right chart for Nawlins seems a bit difficult. I fight the incorporation date on this one because she's been arround so much longer than that... it doesn't seem proper somehow.

I'm wondering how many tragedies have happened when the sun was in Virgo in the past. I mean, damn...we had September 11th (my aunt's birthday, btw), the Madrid bombings, and now Katrina...

Is our time with the sun a bad time? Are one of us going to emerge as the antichrist one day? Help me out here...

In all reality, I'm (obviously) new here and I just find astrology very interesting...but this is something that has been on my mind. When I google "Virgo" ... it indeed DOES say on some sites that we have the mark of the beast, 6 6 6 or something like that. I guess the number we place in the chart is 6? Maybe I'm making little sense...so I'll stop while I'm still tolerated.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I'm posting this link about Hurricane Gustav because I hope to look at the chart later, when I have a little more time. As the report points out, this new disaster is hitting the area almost 3 years to the day after hurricane Katrina.

Hanna is already welling up behind gustav, I'm wondering if we will see a long slow hit of several storms in a row? a look at the Gulf Weather Map shows some gigantic storms brewing in the region that look linked, sort of like a red rover line at school, if that reference makes sense, I mean it looks as if each storm is pulling the last one after it? Just thinking out loud, but with Gustav already heading inward and talks of Hanna picking up...
