Thanks Therese. It remains to be seen if the problems are ironed out. It was more of a test to see if it has calmed down. I am using a new internet provider now though I don't think that was the problem. More likely had to do with my firewall which was recently updated. Time will tell.

Thank you for your concern and suggestion Michael, it is much appreciated, but my firewall is complicated by the fact is it a hardware product developed by some friends of my oldest son. It works great except with skyscript. The latest upgrade so far is promising. My goal has been to support them and be a technical guinea pig of sorts. They have worked for a year on this particular problem. It has something to do with the oudated code of skyscript which I don't understand at all. I leave it to younger and more clever minds to solve and perhaps they have! Be well and safe in these trying times.

Yes, Scyscript's code is indeed outdated and in need of revision. The issue is complex and, alas, above my paygrade. However, it has been the subject of public discussion on this forum before, and I hope a definite effort to set things straight will follow eventually.
