Hi Ouranos I agree that that kind of technique indicates a low in vitality rather than an inevitable destiny. Astrology just doesn't work that way, IMO, and the choices we make do matter. For the calculation of the Hyleg, Anareta and Alcocoden I use AstroFox 0.8 https://af.cpptea.com/astrofox.php? -------------------- And here are guidelines I use - The destructor of life or Anareta is the planet afflicting the giver of life or Hyleg. - For the luminaries to be Hyleg preferably Angular and in the first third of the Angular house. If not use the AS, its ruler, co-ruler or any planet conjunct the AS. - The Anareta can be a planet in the 8th the ruler of the 8th even more so if malefic (Mars or Saturn) and afflicting the Hyleg a planet conjunct the ruler of the 8th a planet sending a square or an opposition to the 8thH cusp - Death will strike when the Hyleg or the AS by Primary Direction encounters the Anareta. Confirmation by Solar Return and Profections. - Check Al-Biruni parts (natal, PD and SR) Part of Fortune AS + MO - SU (Day) AS + SU - MO (Night) Part of Hyleg AS + MO - Syzygy (Pre-Natal Lunation) Part of Death SA + H8 - MO Anareta AS + MO -L1 Part of Sickness AS + MA - SA (I pay special attention to this one because of the 2 malefics with the AS combination) I habitually use the Part of Sickness in connection with medical topics and almost always find it to be meaningful. However, the formula should be inverted for nocturnal charts, IME. - Check Fixed Stars (benefics or malefics) - Check the Lord of the Year, Lord by Circumambulation of the Bound, Lord of the Profected Year, Lord of the Solar Return. ------------------ - Months when the Sun is squaring or opposing natal Sun are periods of lower vitality and are to be taken into account. Conjunctions depending on the aspect received. Slow down, rest, sleep and eat well. - Months when the Sun is squaring or opposing natal Moon are periods of stress and anxiety. Conjunctions depending on the aspects received. Pay special attention to your mind and consider uplifting therapies (yoga, meditation, positive readings etc) - Months when the Sun is squaring or opposing natal ASC are periods of scattered energy. Conjunctions depending on the aspects received. Make sure you put your priorities at the right place. Always keeping in mind what the Natal is saying. Death is a very sensitive subject but not something the Ancients were not disregarding and I think we die twice - when we are born and when we die. That's exactly what 007 said to Tiger Tanaka in Ian Fleming's novel You Only Live Twice! Outing myself as an old James Bond fan here! - Did you know that "007" was originally the designation of astrologer and alchemist John Dee when he was active as a spy? In between, we try to understand the why of both ends. That one got me thinking! "Some people die at 25 and aren't buried until 75" (Benjamin Franklin) Quite true. 15 by Ouranos Where was Krypton in his chart? Wink Could not find it in the minorplanetcenter.net page nor on the NASA Exoplanet Archive ?? Unless it has a different name. I saw 'Red Sun', not listed either. Thanks for sharing your story as a James Bond fan. You must be married to M Blessings! Quote Sat Mar 19, 2022 12:41 am
16 by Dima Gur Ouranos, thanks for the many links and resources. I still have to get to Brady, which was on my reading list and I almost forgot about that annotated Deb Houlding version of Dorotheus, I will jump start it to the top of my hyleg reading list. By the way, where on the globe are you from and are you a guy or a girl? (if you don't mind me asking ). https://www.gurastro.com Quote Sat Mar 19, 2022 7:39 pm

While it is known that Mr. Spock's home world Vulcan orbits 40Eridani, I indeed couldn't find any reference to Krypton's whereabouts (before it was blown to smithereens). An interesting piece of information I did find during my search, though, was an explanation to what marvelous extent a specific type of sun affected a Kryptonian's powers! Thanks for sharing your story as a James Bond fan. You must be married to M Sadly, she has never been my type, even before she transformed back into a guy. _________________ Visit my blog: https://michaelsternbach.wordpress.com/ Quote Thu Mar 24, 2022 7:31 am

Much like there is a lot of astrological (and other esoteric) knowledge contained in ancient myths - which I believe to have been the 'pop culture' of the time. _________________ Visit my blog: https://michaelsternbach.wordpress.com/ Quote Tue Mar 29, 2022 4:31 pm
22 by Fadi Mazboudi Its best to judge the whole horoscope. You can learn a lot from astrodatabank by studying the horoscopes of people who lived below 30 years. There are many indicators. www.FadiMazboudi.com https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4xnsx ... subscriber Quote Tue Apr 12, 2022 11:35 pm
