Thank you both! My boss verbally offered me the position yesterday, and formal paperwork is being processed but I will wait to celebrate. I have been in the past betrayed by the system. So just being cautious here. But if I do get this, it will be a big win for me. My career took a setback due to immigration and now with this job, I would be where I would have been in my home country.
Fingers crossed! Hoping the offer letter comes through and hoping that the money is good and worth the effort and pain I will endure when I do this really challenging role. But who said life is going to be easy!
