Don't get stuck on deciding about days, months etc
Get your symbolic time first (Example 8 degrees between Sun and Saturn)
Check in the ephemeris 8 days, 8 weeks, 8 months and see what happens with your significators by transit.
Make your decision from the transits. For example, at the end of the month, the Sun meets Saturn. Does it make sense? Use your intuition and what the person is telling you.
