Thank you Ouranos..no need to apologize at all. I really appreciate your inputs and time you invest on helping read the charts.
On a recent development that happened on Tuesday, June 04: My current boss "A" is looking at increasing my responsibilities and may put me in charge of another team. I do fear how will I cope with so much work load but if he does do that, it comes with more Money.
All this is still happening in the background, who knows will happen but lots of moving parts here and there.
I will keep u posted.

Interesting development:- one of the positions I applied for on May 31st, came back with the request to interview.
I checked my profile on their portal (made many years ago, when I was aggressively looking for jobs) and I have historically applied to positions in that company 9 times. This is the first time in so many years they have called me back.
Even the role (for which I applied) is not an exact fit, and I will try my best to present myself well...let’s see what happens.

Hi Ouranos,

Surprising news did come up and somebody in my team (R) has quit. My current boss (A) was already looking at giving his role to me, and move R to another team, but A is very slow to act. And now with this man's (R) departure he may need to expedite things. However I'm still very unclear where B is and what is holding him up from offering me a role....if my role expands in A's team, I can definitely ask A for more money but later if B does come with an offer I will feel bad about leaving A in a lurch, because any day I will choose B over A.
I feel confused, but I also want to live in the moment. What if B never shows up with a proposal? or may be A does not offer me additional responsibilities (R's role) and may hire from outside. Don't know what is in the mind of these people.
I will keep you posted on how things shape up.

Hi,

I just wanted to give an update on this one.
I'm still in A's team and not much has changed since asking this question except my roles and responsibilities (with no pay change..lol) but that is a different topic
B is still in the company but now has very little authority over things. I very much doubt if he will even stay within the company for long now, give that people he liked to work with are all gone..not sure where is head is at.
But Just wanted to drop by and give some updates here.
