Dear Jason, thank you very much for your comprehensive answer. I want to answer dialectically to you. You come from North America, as I see in your profile. Here in astrological Europe I basically know three important methods for describing social and political forecasts for the near and somewhat further future, i.e. outside of the personal level, i.e. for countries, cultural circles, etc. There is the so-called royal conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter, the entry of Saturn into a cardinal sign and then the same for the entry of Uranus. The last two are specifically about entering the sign of Aries. Of these three constellations, the rarest time is that of Uranus in the cardinal signs and especially in Aries.

For example, if you want to look at the next developments and changes in Iran, then you take the last of these constellations and calculate the horoscope for the capital Tehran, for example, when Uranus entered the sign Aries. Calculated in Washington, of course, things look different, even if the planets are in the same position in the zodiac, but not in the houses.

If a world event like Fukushima falls so precisely on the ingress of Uranus, then that means that the event itself has historical significance and impact beyond the event itself. Fukushima has re-posed the energy question worldwide.

I noticed in the German-speaking astrological forums that no one was astonished and discussed the fact that the Ingress correlated practically to the day with the events in Fukushima. As far as I remember, I was always the only user who discussed this. No matter how you actually interpreted the constellation, I found it very surprising and it doesn't shed a good light on astrologers. If this sort of thing isn't an issue for astrologers, then what is?

Regarding the accuracy of the constellation: When I looked at this topic astrologically for the first time many years ago, the 0 degrees Aries correlated exactly 2 hours with a central event regarding Fukushima. I don't know how the story is told today. In my other topic I tried to explain in various variations that the public announcement of public events never actually (completely) corresponds to the facts. Another question, of course, is why where we read the character boundaries, i.e. the 0 degrees of a new character, were placed exactly where you see them now. To a certain extent, this was probably as arbitrary as the drawing of African national borders after the end of colonization.

Thanks from Jakob

Hello again Jakob,

I'm of the view that we should question our everyday notions of time and, for lack of a better term, "God." This sense pervades my outlook in general. Though, my experience of trying to discuss this with others has led me to believe it's best just kept to myself; confusions tend to ensue. Life is paradoxical, is all I'll say up front and am fine with leaving it at that.

Due to this notion, I think that both the Tropical and Sidereal systems can be valid. I do believe it's best to work within defined boundaries when using a specific system, but that doesn't mean one can't switch to another system, with its boundaries, and find fertile ground there as well. You discussing Uranus' ingress is completely symbolically valid for the event. I am mostly a Tropical system astrologer myself. So, I do not disagree. I hope I didn't cause any confusion for you. Lately I've just been interested in crossing boundaries/looking at other systems, and I am particularly interested in fixed stars as well. So, as I said, I apologize to you if I created any confusion. I was only interested in pointing out a factor (the fixed stars) that didn't rely on the zodiac system employed.

You don' t need to apologize.
The death of dialectics is the birth of barbarism. I have the feeling that you are tired of the discussion. Then it's supposed to be like that.
lol Jakob, I'm not tired of the discussion. This is just an online forum, I can read or disregard it at will. No skin off my back, really. Please, carry on! There's nothing wrong with sharing your thoughts, I was only trying to explain myself, after having shared mine, in case I caused any confusion.

Hello and good evening, I would like to come back to the constellation of Uranus at 19:54/55 Aries, even if German history may not be so firm and close to you.

The last time Uranus was there was the night when Chancellor Angela Merkel, in agreement with Austrian Chancellor Feymann and Hungarian Peter Orban, decided to open the borders to the numerous refugees crammed into the so-called Balkan line. That's when the Third German Reich began astrologically.

Before that, Uranus was at this spot on the day of Hitler's seizure of power on January 30, 1933, the beginning of the Second German Reich. And before that, Uranus was at the spot on May 8, 1848, when the election result for the occupation of the first German bourgeois parliament was known, which met for the first time a week later in the Frankfurt.

In relation to the position of the sun and thus to the calendar day, this degree of Uranus corresponds to April 8 or 9. On April 8 and 9, 2024, the International Court of Justice met for the first time in The Hague to discuss a lawsuit by Nicaragua against Germany for supporting genocide against the Palestinians. A few days later, Chiron was at 19:54 Aries.

On April 9, 1945, shortly before the end of World War II, there was a series of executions of the most famous German resistance fighters against Hitler. Georg Elser, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Wilhelm Canaris, Hans von Dohnanyi, etc. On April 9, 1940, Germany attacked Denmark and Norway.

Hi again, Jakob.

Maybe it was mentioned earlier, and I missed it, but is there some underlying theme that you want to highlight by threading these particular historical events and this degree together? If I'm understanding you correctly, you seem to be attributing a specific meaning to the degree. Would you care to elaborate a little more on what that is and whether this theory related to that particular degree is specifically connected to Germany or universal as well? If you could share that, it might make it a little easier to reply. Thanks!

Good morning Jason (it's mid-morning here), thank you for your reflection on my approach. Nevertheless, this is a fallacy. Where do I begin?

Here in Germany there were two well-known, now deceased astrologers from different schools of the last 100 years who dealt with the meaning of zodiac degrees, Michael Roscher and Wolfgang Döbereiner. The former lived in the house next door to friends where we often met. The other one was my teacher.

In both cases one may ask oneself where they actually got their “knowledge” from?

Apart from the fact that causality is predominantly a projection of the human mind anyway, one can never provably say, “because degree XY, therefore event AB” or vice versa.

Even if some famous astrologer had put the 19:54 Aries into a specific analogy into which I could put my German events, it would have no meaning or prove anything.

In the past, interested people observed the starry sky and documented recurring events in the recurring star constellations. I basically do the same thing.

My grandma comes to mind. From the 1930s until six months before her death in 1978, she lived in a self-built wooden hut on the edge of the forest, far from residential areas, without running water or electricity. She knew a lot about nature etc. I inherited the property from my father.

One day, herbs we were growing for food on this property inexplicably wilted early in their growth, even though my father had cared for them. We had never experienced that before. My father then told me that if this type of a herb breaks, someone in the family soon will die. A few months later my mother died. I assume father got this kind “wisdom” from his mother.

I observe the movement of the planets in the zodiac and I noticed that Uranus has the clearest relevance in political events.

Ah! Ok. I feel the same, Jakob.

Now I understand. This is the answer I was looking for. Thanks for clearing that up.
