Thank you again Saturnello for: “ Dont worry, you won't be the only one waiting for the votes to be counted
Every and all astrologers will do the same...there is no way to tell which astrological method of prediction works better than others.
But just to make you happy be aware of the fact that Horary is the less used (and/or trusted) technique in election matters.”

This I did not know!! Well, it is a ‘study’, and as such I suppose those of us who apply ourselves to it, can only get better with time. Thank you again for the wisdom you bestow upon us. 🙏😊

The approach you shared that is used by Frawley makes a lot of sense, Saturnello. I sure hope this approach is correct. I tend to favor the method by the original astrologer who asked the question, all things being equal, but one would hope universal rules should work. This method actually makes a lot of sense and I might try it out on previous charts to see if it works.

My own issue here though is still if Trump is Saturn, again, it is retro (return, something that happened before happens again, etc.) and the Moon (10th lord, crown of the king) applies to it. Saturn additionally beholds the 10th by trine. It has power there. Ultimately, the Moon is the most important in horary, and here it is saying a lot.

In general, one would also assume the querent would be unhappy with the final outcome of a chart where the Moon applies to retro Saturn. Lilly would say if that were in the 1st house it would destroy the question. Here I would assume it could be just as negative. Additionally, on a basic level, the Moon leaves a benefic and applies to a malefic. If I were betting on a stock, I wouldn't want that stock.
