With all due respect, how are Prof. Ossendrijver's findings different from those of Rumen Kolev's previously published courses? As I understand it, Kolev had already presented similar conclusions in his research.
Andrew, do we have a source for Rumen Kolev's work? Is it available on-line? I have my own view of Prof. Ossendrijver's conclusions (...hoping soon to post remarks here as requested by AJ...) as I've been following research relating to ancient stars for many years.

Therese,

Could you please clarify what you meant by, “Do we have a source for Rumen Kolev’s work?”

The source of my statement is Kolev’s correspondence course, which I have completed the first part of. He offers a three-part course in Babylonian astrology, in which he discusses the exaltation degrees, among other topics. His website is babylonianastrology.com.

I look forward to your response.

Andrew, you have answered the source question (as to where Kolev's exaltation-star data can be found): Kolev's correspondence course. Dr. H wouldn't know about Kolev's conclusions if he hadn't taken the correspondence course. I was wondering if this exaltation-star information might be on the Internet for us to read. I have only Kolev's The Babylonian Astrolabe (2013) which I remember studying in some detail when I purchased it some years ago.
