L10 Venus is combust in the 7th, which is a bad thing for the ASC team, by all means indirectly though.
L7 is in cazimi which acc to JF does not mean anything and Rx which also doesn't mean anything. Well, at least it's not combust.
Moon as the Flow of Events is applying to L4 (a.k.a DSC L10) Mars, after that - to L10 Venus (combust), after that - to L7 Mercury (not combust). It looks like the DSC team has an edge.

Unfortunately, you cannot bank on the Moon's aspects alone being unreliable as they are. I would settle for a TUR draw/win @ 2.05 or Asian handicap TUR +0.5 @ 2.175

Regarding SUI - CZE match, both teams have red kits, but I think the home team will wear white + according to astrologyweekly.com Zodiacal signs & countries Taurus (DSC) is Switzerland.

Anyway, if you're convinced one of the teams will definitely win, you could bet on both teams @ 2.70 and @ 2.65 and still profit

PS Nope, it turns out SUI home kit is red, while CZE away kit is white with red stripes. Tit for tat. But I still think CZE is the ASC team. Normally, if SUI would not be playing at home, CZE would've been the fave here. Maybe I'm wrong.

The South Node is 20 LEO 34 while MC is 21 LEO 37. So it's 1 deg 03 mins away.

I've not been swamped with interest of a little informal competition between astrologers. If it changes before kick off tomorrow, I thought two points for a correct prediction. Maybe a bonus point for getting the score right and deducting a point for having the confidence to go for a correct score and getting it wrong. Points available for each game, -1,0,1,2,3.

Anyway, comments noted on the first games by everyone else. I'm not making any score predictions.

Yep, I speak Russian. I don't support Spain or Russia, it's just the Spain is the obvious favorite here (according to the bookmakers and power rank). What I "support" is spectacular games staged by the top teams. Russia is nowhere near spectacular, at least for now.

Croatia is the fave here, yet it seems they will have trouble winning the match. L7 Venus for Austria is in cazimi, whereas L10 Mercury is combust (1?32' from the Sun) and Saturn malefic as he is sitting just inside the cusp of the 10th house (1?05' from the MC). Since these testimonies do not 'afflict' the ASC team directly, I wouldn't dare to say that Croatia will lose, yet a draw is a possibility. Any thoughts?

Interesting that the opening match is played with the Moon in Leo, i.e. my horary of 2007 suggesting that France could suprize and win. Oh well, never mind that. The tournement starts today:
