by masyn Cheez louise, seasand! That Saturn must be heavily connected in the horoscope for you to be so depressed. It sounds like you had a rough time as most of us do at the Saturn return but don't let it swamp you like this. Look for the bright path in your horoscope and follow it, you do not NEED to be married to be a whole person. Let it happen at the right time, and try and catch the eye of older people, you'll likely find your soulmate in the generation older than you. Keep smiling. Quote Wed Apr 14, 2010 10:45 am
by Tanit Since your Saturn is in Libra, you may experience the transit more than once. My Saturn return was just before this one, in Virgo, and it actually perfected over my Saturn three times, in case I didn't notice it the first time. The third time was the hardest. I'm assuming that not everyone will have a difficult return, it likely depends on the condition of Saturn in your chart and what it rules, and possibly how the transit goes (such as mine going over it three times and Saturn being debilitated and low in my chart - the 3rd house is a difficult area of the Saturn cycle). It's interesting to also analyze the return charts because they are telling about what events might unfold. I'm not sure why some people don't notice their Saturn returns, since mine was truly the beginning of a very Saturn-esque experience, and I became more interested in astrology around that time for some answers. Perhaps some people already had their Saturn lessons, or do not heed them when they come (have to wait for the Uranus opp mid-life crisis). Quote Fri Jun 04, 2010 1:57 am
by PFN I still am a little far from my 1st Saturn return (3 years) but I can say that I valued a lot Jupiter and it's second return, cause it broke the constant of Saturn in my life, at least a little. If anything good happened in my life it was when the Jupiter return came about, and when Jupiter squared Saturn a couple of years later (also when it's firdar started, ending a long period of necessity during the Saturn one) although briefly, I had some interesting things happening cause of him, even if with some suffering mixed in the pot. One of the most important things in my life happened on the exact night Jupiter squared Saturn partil, so I can barely wait to see what happens when Jupiter opposes this evil doer (specially cause it will happen 3 times). But I do have a succedent Jupiter in Sagitarius, so he is kind of strong. What I'm saying with this is that if you take a look at your Jupiter and his transits you may see some moments into which it is likely that Saturn's effect will be diminished or even retreat for some time in your life through his blessing (that opposes Saturn by principle and shares the quality of a lasting effect due to slowness). Also, in my chart Saturn is problematic for he receives no application (all planets separate) is the only angular planet, without dignity and in a night chart. You should take a look at yours and see if he is really the source of trouble, cause in Libra he would need to be badly aspected, positioned and so on to be so problematic. Maybe there is more going on to explain all those sad things (those violent endings could relate to Mars + Saturn effect). PS: if Jupiter is no good, as you indicate that he was of little help up untill now, maybe you should look at Venus and the Sun and their returns, and look for signs of Saturn's being softened by harmonic aspects coming from good houses. This could even be present in the Saturn Return chart itself, pointing (hopefully) that the worse is over. Paulo Felipe Noronha Quote Fri Jun 04, 2010 8:53 am
by Tanit Maybe there is more going on to explain all those sad things (those violent endings could relate to Mars + Saturn effect). I actually think transit Uranus on the other end might be the problem too, and maybe the recent Mars transit sextile while each were in the other's detriment (Mars in Leo, Saturn in Libra). Not to mention Pluto, etc. That whole cardinal cross/square business. I know of several people with 7th house Saturns or 7th ruler Saturns with a Saturn return in early Libra or late Virgo who are going through spousal problems and one may end up divorcing. I think the current transits, especially with Uranus, are contributing to early mid-life crisis for people with Saturn close by. The posters' description of his experience actually sounds a lot like a mid-life crisis. Soon Mars and Saturn will conjunct in Libra (again, Mars' detriment), which also seems difficult for anyone with a Saturn in Libra. This hasn't happened since 1984. Quote Fri Jun 04, 2010 5:28 pm

I've noticed Jupiter transits being nullified by a Saturn transit in the same period. I think this issue is what may give some astrologers to have doubts about using (only) the transits. 19 by SunMachine Hello, I had Saturn return in 2008, and it was no nightmare, it was an actual return, and a good one. I have saturn in the 9th, Virgo, and back then I was living far away from my home town. But I was already willing to come back, or at least to be closer to my home town, so that I could see my family and my city more often. But I had a lot of dogs, didn't have a car, didn't know how to drive, and didn't know how I would take them in such a long trip. So, after a long planning, I finally travelled back to my home state in september 2008, in a rented car with all the doggies, my sister driving, when saturn was perfectly conjunct my natal saturn. It demanded work and planning, but it was definitely worth it. My return to my roots was very welcome and I don't feel as lonely as I used to in that other place, for now I'm closer to my family and I can visit them anytime I want. So, don't expect tragedies, SatR can be a good thing, depending on Sat's aspects. BTW, I firmly believe in transits, to me they are the most beautiful and accurate thing about astrology. 20 by masyn If yuzuru is still around (post 1), can you tell us what sign your Natal Saturn is in? Seasand has your return passed fully or are you still having retrogrades and re-hits from it? I currently have the Libra Saturn opposing my Aries Saturn, and am having urges to reaffirm my wiccan beliefs and start 'practising the craft' more openly. Quote Fri Sep 17, 2010 10:01 pm
