Mercury is in Scorpio which is ruled by Mars.

This looks like a sort of three way reception. I don't know how to name it.

I' m not a supporter of Ascendant= physical appearance, but I believe that the temperament should be seen in the body,

The physical appearance was in fact the main factor in recognising the temperament.

And Moon and Ascendant are the main factors in order to recognize a temperament, so the chart should fit in a way or another...
