Geographic coordinates: 3.728N, 96.080E

What I find most striking in the chart is the proximity of the MC to the fixed star Algol. The MC is also very close to the location of the Moon in the Aries Ingress chart for 2010. Mars in in an applying square to the Sun , while the Sun is squaring the event chart ascendant.

NB: I have converted the metric coordinates to approximate degrees and minutes in my head but others may want more mathematically precise coordinates.

The 7,2 Richter earthquake that occured in Vanuatu, 13S42, 166E30, on 27 May at 17.15 GMT is by far the largest earthquake that has occured the last month or so. Fortunately, it did not occur in a highly populated area. I am adding this post merely as an observation. Notice the closeness to the predicted keydate of 28. May. That is 135 days from the Haiti earthquake, 90 days from the Chile earthquake and 45 days from the earthquake China together with the volcano errupting on Iceland.

A state of emergency has been declared in Christchurch, New Zealand, after a large 7.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the country's second largest city. The quake, which struck at 4:35am local time on September 4th with the epicentre just 30 kilometres from Christchurch, is reported to have lasted for up to 40 seconds.The quake was felt throughout much of the South Island and southern parts of the North Island, and caused widespread damage, including the collapse of some buildings. More generally, there is already a wikipedia page for the earthquake. Apparently the epicentre was was 40 kilometres (25 mi) west of Christchurch,near the town of Darfield. The earthquake began at 4.35am on September 4th.

This got me curious what the population of the area was. Obviously, we need to know average birth rate to know if this is abnormal or not.

The area administered by the Christchurch City Council has a population of 372,600 (June 2009 estimate). According to recent demographic research the birth rate of New Zealand is : 13.61 births/1,000 population (2007 est.)

That means if birth rates follow New Zealand averages there should about 14 births each day in Christchurch. So its certainly higher than average but hardly spectacular.
