If the female friend's lover is changing attitudes with her while in contact with the male friend in question (the quesited - who is starting to sound more 7th house to me than 11th), I wouldn't assume so readily he is at fault. Even if we assign this person the 7th house, which makes more sense in light of what you are saying (them female friend sounds like she might be 11th) they are again a benefic influence, not malefic. Water influences can be very sensitive and possibly even retreatful, but I don't see how Moon or Jupiter as possible sigs here are liars or seek to intentionally hurt others. This would apparently be counter to what Olivia's saying (regarding Ben Dyke's translation), but I have a hard time wrapping my brain around a very debilitated querent vs. a benefic influence for 7th or 11th being "right" in this whole scenario. Sun is a body of truth, combusting querent, and Mercury debilitated square Jupiter tends to have the wrong idea about things. I do know Elumen had a "bad" quesited who was Jupiter in domicile, but in a way Jupiter felt it was behaving correctly in light of circumstances.

IMO, this chart is clearly warning you not to make presumptions about the situation because you don't know all of the information and are jumping to the wrong conclusions.

Another quick update**

He (our ex-friend to be) indeed contacted to him and told him both some true and untrue things about her.Scared him as well.

Result : none of us are talking to him anymore and there is no development about the couple as far as i know.
