Hi majid and Astraea,

yes, some of the colors were hard to see, and i've corrected the blue, green and yellow colors and turned them more dark. I think now it is much easier to see, do you agree?

Thanks for the suggestion, if you have more suggestions i'm "all ears"!

Hi again,

i've just created a new screencast video which shows how you can use skyPlux to export charts to create your own personalized astrology Word/PDF documents with your own annotations, background images, etc.

The process is rather simple, just watch the screencast at the youtube skypluxweb channel at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vz_jCqcS8tM

I use that technique to create Horary documents with my own texts to compare later. You can't get any faster than this (simple, fast drag-and-drop)..

Enjoy skyPlux,

Joao, thank you so much for the video screencast, which I look forward to watching - this is very generous and helpful of you.

I want to apologize for not spelling your name correctly - I do not know how to put the appropriate mark over the "a" in your name from my keyboard. I mean no disrespect.

Hi all,

i've just uploaded a new video to skypluxweb youtube channel just to show that the application runs very well on smartphones like Android phones and Iphones. So, if you are far from your computer, and want to do an horary or make a consultation, you can use your phone too..

The video is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIWK1eRVcVM

Incredibly, it runs better on the smartphones than on Microsoft Windows using Internet Explorer browsers.

I recommend anyone who wants to use skyPlux on Windows to use Firefox or Google Chrome browsers which are available for free on the Internet, are up to date with the (not so) new internet standards and don't have serious security errors like the ones that force the France and Germany governments to advise its citizens not to use Internet Explorer (You can read about it here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/8465038.stm)!

Thanks,
Jo?o Ventura

Hello everyone,

skyPlux has a new section on the left menu for handling Mundane Astrology computations. For now, in that section, if you insert the year, and the GPS coordinates of the capital city of your country (default coordinates are from Lisboa-Portugal), you can access the season ingresses (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn ingresses).

Also, for Windows users who use Internet Explorer, i've disabled access of that browser to the application. If you try to access skyPlux with Internet Explorer, you'll be redirected to a web page explaining why i've decided that. The main reasons are that IE is the *only* browser where most of all design aspects fails (like semi-transparent colors, round corners, glyph fonts), rendering the application unusable to IE users. It also has many security errors.
I strongly advise all MS Windows users to install a modern browser like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera (free and available on the Internet). You'll see that your general internet experience (definitely not only with skyPlux) will be much fluid, faster and more enjoyable!

skypluxweb is also a new youtube channel where all videos and screencasts will be published. You can subscribe it at http://www.youtube.com/user/skypluxweb

skyPlux is at http://www.skyplux.com/

Thanks,
Jo?o Ventura

What are your settings for the average browser. My Firefox is not registering the Astrological Glyphs in the Tables but its fine in Opera. The Chart itself has no problem just the tables. As I used to do websites I carry most of the browsers for Windows but I use Firefox mostly. I also oftimes reset for other languages. I did notice you are using a propriety font in your styles package.

Hi Majid,

i develop primarily on Firefox, and in all browsers (except IE) everything works fine. What is your version of Firefox? Mine is latest 3.6, and in Firefox 4 it also works fine!
Yes, i use font-face css to give a proprietary astrology font to the user. If not for the version of Firefox, i don't know why it shall not work. Maybe try to clear cache or reinstall if you can..
Let me know if you find a workaround, maybe it can happen to other users..
