Thanks for the detailed examples. The concept I?m seeing is that you use the chain of dispositorship almost as a ?lifeline? along which energy is passed down to a planet that has poor essential dignity or is peregrine. It seems you?re indicating that the dispositors can provide a kind of ?raw? energy that can help the weak planet express itself in its usual way, or can sometimes add a bit of their own flavor to the weak planet. And it seems you?re pretty liberal about such energy flow, as even corporeal presence within the same sign can work (although this is a relatively weak conduit). It also seems, if I?m getting you right, that a strong final dispositor can help out every planet along the chain, even the least dignified, and even if intermediate planets are in bad shape. It seems this would allow even a peregrine planet to have a chance at expressing itself.

Dispoistor act as life line of the planet positioned in Dispositor's Sign/Constellation. Its the Dispositor, who in real, need to be evaluated for quality and quantity of outcome of a House. A planet can be in friendly or enemy Sign or constellation in any house. The Planet has to deliver the results according to the ?House? occupied by it, in Natal chart or in Transit. Each house is occupied by sign/s where ?the Sign is Macro area? with the range of 30 Degree. So, the sign lord (as per sign occupied by specific planet) act as ?Primary? dispositor. Further, to narrow the search area, we look on ?Constellation?, here constellation is Micro Area. In Vedic Astrology, each Constellation is further divided in many parts, but special attention is given to its division in 4 equal parts i.e. known as ?Navamsa? which represent the 1/4th part of a Constellation as well as 1/9th part of Sign, measuring 3 Degree and 20 minutes. So, Sign Dispositor and Constellation dispositers are given much weightage. Dispositor?s strong condition/ placement will boost up the productivity of House like Disopositor?s own condition represents ?the fertility of the house?.
A planet cannot do much without support of its dispositor. If dispositor is strong, then a weak Planet can also yield good results but a well placed Planet cannot assure good result, if its dispositor is weak or afflicted. If a planet is in its own house, then it act as own disopitor also, so if such Planet owns good house as well as under the benefic aspects of other Planets; will yield good results else will spoil the house.

Hi, I've got (diurnal chart) sun conjunct mars in pisces in the 9th & also the 10th house by the 5-degree rule. Jupiter would be their dispositor and is conjunct venus (both in aries) within 5 degrees of the 11th. Now, I know that the sun is peregrine and mars is combust, which I believe is a malevolent combination. Jupiter would be in aversion to them, being in the next sign to pisces. Also, because it's a diurnal chart, Jupiter is not in the day triplicity, only the night (does that mean it's essentially peregrine?). So, with all this taken into account (if I'm doing it right), Jupiter is no or not much help to sun and mars. I'd like to know others' interpretations of this, please.

sorry, forgot to mention that venus is in detriment in aries, if that makes more of an interpretation.
