I mean the sun and the moon are two such important components which, make up the core of person. The sun is the basic personality, and the moon the emotional response, the genetic inheritence, and so on and so on. I know we are off topic and hope we are not irritating Jorge. I have met many people with sun and moon combinations which are squared, and I find their emotional responses are often a surprise to all, including them. They don't seem so intouch with their feeling selves, or able to access it easily. Yes you are right about not giving out one's intimate life details. I posted my natal chart and asked where all the trauma in my life was in chart, and did give out details. Most people were tactful and tried to give an honest response, but it was probably the repetitive mistake of my life popping up again-being too open and too honest without thinking about how human nature really is. I wouldn't do it again although I did learn a lot. Good night. I hope we get to discuss things on other threads. Quote Fri Jun 29, 2012 4:55 am

I doubt whether I could remember well enough what I read to write a book review. More Kirk's around than one might expect. I'm like you with the old memory cells these days so I may compliment you again on it in a few years. Quote Fri Jun 29, 2012 7:43 pm

Have you any idea why he believed that? It's easy to comprehend that as Mercury is lord of Gemini how the native may be blessed with communication skills. Or Mercury in Sag as Traditionally as the travel or foreign countrys house and it's tie to other languages. But Lilly with his Mercury in stubborn Tau Rx, and separating from a cjt. to Uranus did a lot of reading and reflection from so many languages and books he had translated that unless we read of walk through all of the books he did it's difficult to know exactly where he got some of his data. For like many current astrologers who are writting books Lilly committed 'academic dishonesty' by Not citing his sources as in a bibliography and utilizing footnotes whereby the student could find where he got his ideas. Perhaps at the university in his time footnotes and an extensive bibliography weren't encouraged. But without having read all that Lilly had, just guessing and making an hypothesis, I'd say since Aquarius rules other cultures and has socialogy under it's house by correlation; that has to be a link to the utopian Mercury ability with languages of other cultures.
