PS - years ago Delphi had a version of the IDE that would compile Linux apps called Kylix. Kylix never got the popularity it needed to go mainstream.

Thanks Curtis - there is virtual machine software for Linux, so it would probably run on Linux that way.

Wine is a piece of software that, as far as I can tell, creates a Windows-like environment within the Linux operating system itself. This effectively fools Windows programs into running on a different OS. It's very clever, and I don't really understand it as computers are not a strong suit of mine.

Janus, for example, runs well under Wine/Linux, but Solar Fire is not so good because of font issues.

I may try and install your Timaeus Lite program under Wine/Linux to see what happens.

I've been wanting a program that would calculate zodiacal releasing, and I believe Delphic Oracle does just that so it would be ideal.

There's a few things I want to calculate though they're top of my list. I think I'll give Delphic Oracle a try and if it's not working on my Mac I'll opt for the program you listed.

I wrote that program back in the 90's when I was just getting back into programming after a long hiatus (from PDP1170 mainframe to a laptop). I never bothered to truncate the 3rd and 4 level periods past the end of their major period counterparts so you will have to be careful that you don't have incorrect data if you aren't watching the end dates of the 1st and 2nd level periods. In Delphic Oracle, you have a graph (timeline) that allows comparison of many different time lord procedures at the same time and clicking on the graph, generates charts such as transits and progressions for the date you clicked on (according to your autogenerated chart settings).

If I owned Apple (I could get past the Apple store fee that way) that might work, but as a small business owner that $4.99 would be eaten up by big corporate service fees and taxes and I'd probably end up taking a significant loss. There is a minimum service transaction fee of $0.35 for starters (along with several other kinds of fees, such as the gateway fee, fraud screen fee, etc)... If I went through the Apple store, that's another $100/year just to be listed...
