When the violence was happening in the usa, ison and mars were beside each other.

The greatest typhoon (hurricane) on earth happened when ison and 3 other comets were in the sky.

NASA declared ISON lost and disintegrated yesterday, Dec. 2. 2013.
ISON 'would have' been retrograde and in the 5th degree of Sagittarius at this time, which by coincidence agrees with it's perihelion position with the Sun on Nov 28. that caused the disintegration in the first place.

I will monitor its hypothetical motion for a few more weeks, but as things are it could be a long time before there is more sloopy humour between politicians of the opposite political wings at the Norwegian Storting. It appears that the party didn't quite end where it was intended and seems to be a matter of the 'day after' for politicians and astronomers alike.
