Quotation from Guido Bonati is quite revealing. He sounds more like an Arab or Persian Astrologer regarding take on late ascendant. As a practicing horary astrologer, I had three instances of receiving questions which had late ascendant. But more particular the 28th degree i.e 27 degrees and 01 minute to 27 degrees and 59 minutes.

1. All of them related to desire to hold or maintain 'High Office'.
2. The fee for the question was the matter of dispute in all the cases
3. The same question was asked to many astrologers.
3. The Querent was 59 years and approx 6 months old at the time of asking the question.
4. The Querent was argumentative and hid the necessary background information.

Ok. Let me share the secret from my Practice. If the main significators have a 27th or 28 degree in any sign. Run for your dear life. The client is not there for receiving the answer. S/he is after you.

You are right Clinton and I should have mentioned it in my text above: the ascending degree is 2 minutes too late. But livestudent gave us the hint to consider his competitors. The trine between Jupiter and Saturn is already separating, thus insinuating the success of the competitors has occurred already just before the question. This would agree with Lilly, CA, p. 298, when he says as to the late AC, it could be that "the matter of the Question is elapsed" already.

As the justification for the 'late' (2 minutes only!!!) ascending degree is given by the chart itself I took the liberty to try to judge the question.

Actually I am of course very curious as to see if horary can predict this beforehand... but it would also help me have some ease of mind over Christmas time as I am getting quite worried about my money situation, having three children and only one income now (my partner's) - but I do also desire the job and would like to be a manager of this organization in question.

Lifestudent, at least me I have not the slightest doubt that your question could have been asked not sincerly enough.

I might add into this thread that I casted another chart just at the moment I had decided to apply for this job and it was before it was advertised. This is the second chart I casted and I did it after applying for it and I had been sitting with my children and thinking for it for a long while before actually getting to the computer so I do not know if the chart is the right chart to study. The ASC should maybe be considered a bit earlier due to this fact.

I did actually post the latitude I live in for giving you insights, but prefer to keep the place to myself. No offense meant by that.

Would you like to see the chart I casted on the day I really set my mind on wanting to apply for this job and having the desire for it born?

What the heck, i might as well post the first chart I did cast for this particular job on the day I had made up my mind to apply for it.

My explanation for the moon being in the third house is because I heard of the job from a family member before it was advertised as she is on the board of directors.

Ok, was not sure what you meant... but I just try to put together what I've read so far about horary.

Aspects between the signifactors can mean a yes - depending on where they are positioned. Signifactors in each others houses/signs may also indicate a yes. And therefore I came to the conclusion that even though Jupiter and Moon were in different signs in the first chart posted and not aspecting each other - there were still some signs of me getting the job since the job ruler is in my 1st house and only a few degrees away from the ASC.

As for the second chart now posted when I tell you I did cast another chart some days before I applied, just on the day when I decided that I would and I asked the question "will I get the job if I apply" and that chart indicates a yes answer to me as the ruler of ASC, Saturn is placed in 10th house with NNode and is in trine with Jupiter, the ruler of MC.

I can also see hard competition in that chart as the ruler of 7th is very close to the MC inside the house of job. I wonder if it is an "insider" of the organisation. But the Sun will move on to pass the MC and into the 12th house and oppose Jupiter while Saturn will keep the trine for some while.

Do you think that for a single Horary, a number of charts should be cast? In your opinion which chart should be the valid one? First or the Second One? and reasons for preference for anyone chart. And lastly and most importantly, In case you get an answer what help would it provide in your future course of action?

BTW, Horary is not for the curious. It might mislead.

By 'Tools of Analysis' I mean

-House System
-Considerations before Judgement
-Assignation of Significators (New Job 6th or 10th)
-The distance in degrees to be considered for aspects
-Arguments for perfection or denial
-Take on Receptions.

You had no take on late ascendent.
You had no take on receptions.

I would suggest that careful reading of 'Christian Astrology', would benefit in a long run. It might happen, that you end up in being a Professional Horary Astrologer, as I did and earn a decent money just sitting in the confines of your own home.

No need to look for any job.
