Well, here's me laughing!

B'ham - Burnley was more exciting than expected. Burnley were ahead with the score 2-3, and then B'ham equalized in the 4th minute of overtime. The result ended 3-3!

If there is an explaination in the chart, something to do with the type of radicality (?) and I have noticed that the Part of Fortune by night is 23TA43 and opposite Saturn. 6 goals in a game is a powerful result, but I am afraid I uttered a four-letter word when Birmingham equalized in the final seconds. And this is my home team!

But the lesson is - stay focused at all times!

Perhaps we should note that the game started with Burnley taking the lead (0-1). Then it switched back and forth with Birmingham equalising (1-1) then Burnley taking the lead again (1-2), then Birmingham equalising (2-2) then Burnley going ahead (2-3) and finally Birmingham equalising (3-3). This seems like a very even match. I'm not sure what to read into the sequence of score-lines, but it might be significant.

Yes, GB. Burnley had the upper hand. In the Championship where 4 games were being played, they were the only team that had scored in the first 45 minutes.

Hmm... The outfall of this match was the last thing I thought about as I went to bed at 23.30 hrs last night, and it was the first thing I thought about today when I woke up this morning at 05.00 a.m. I remember my response when Birmingham put in the final equalizer as the final kick of the match... the four-letter word and laughter of amusement, and thought ' We have been tricked!' There was something about this game that seemed too obvious from the start and when things are too obvious, then there is something that might be missed.

The position and role of Venus, as Lady of the Hour, is surely important. Venus rules the ascendant not only by sign, but also by term (!) - however, this is not it. I think that the missing and overlooked item is Mercury. Mercury is the natural significator of Birmingham (Virgo) and in the same sign as the Lady of the Hour. But not only that; Mercury also rules the ascendant by triplicity (the triplicity of air is ruled by Mercury by night!!) In this way the ruler of the ascendant by triplicity is in the SAME SIGN AS THE LADY OF THE HOUR! Now contracts of radicality according to triplicity OFTEN lean towards the draw. The reason for this is that the signs of the same triplicity represent a 'family' or circle of friends and like to 'share things around' - hence we often find this featuring in a draw in football.

I would still probably have gone for an away-win due to the current strength of Burnley and the trine between Mars, L7, and Fortuna. I wouldn't have considered Mars detrimented state or retrogradation as a factor, but maybe that the aspect is cast below the horizon. Mars being a nocturnal planet and below the horizon puts him out of sect, and this could be worth giving a though.

One more thing I wanted to add:

There are two ways of looking at a chart
1) In terms of making something expected happening in terms of odds.
2) Preventing something expected happening and moving the result in the opposite direction.

And then there is the problem of sorting out the game that the chart is all about. In the Championship yesterday there were four games; One away-win, two draws and one home. The only game that performed according to what was expected by 'odds' was Wigan - SheffieldW where this was considered the 'safest' bet at 1,65:1, yet Wigan 'only' won 1-0.

It's hard to see anything in this chart, yet that radicality might be good for the home team favourites and the Moon in 19? Leo might be an upset for Napoli (they've got this volcano there that ticks off under this degree). Could Mercury applying to the dispositor of his term fortify the favourite. Cadent significators might pack things away or towards the end of the game, but that's something I want to take for observation.

Day Jupiter, Hour Moon - radical by triplicity, but conflict

This second game is different, because the planetary hour has changed. The chart is radical according to triplicity (draw?), but never forget that Mercury corrupts the Moon, so in horaries at least there is always some issue of controversy or conflict. So this chart is not so good for the home team (?), yet Mercury who also is L10 is conjunct Fortuna. I am really not sure, but Salzburg are favorites and Lord of the 10th conjunct POF could be worth something.

If this 2nd game does end a draw, then we have to consider things like Mercury being in his own triplicity - in addition to the Moon ruling the asc by triplicity, but let's consider a peg on Salzburg first. (?)

Here's trying to add a different approach to Saturday's 15.00 GMT games. I tried to scan the movement and alteration of the Asc, MC and POF for various locations in England by examining the boundaries;

St Ives (Cornwall) 50N14, 5W30

Ramsgate (Dover) 51N20, 1E25
Asc 24LE31, MC 11TA59, POF 12AQ07

Norwich, 52N38, 1E18

Newcastle, 54N59, 1W36
Asc 24LE11, MC 8TA55, POF 11AQ47

In summary these are the variations;

The games are all played on the Day of Saturn and in the Hour of Jupiter, so due to the Leo ascendant by Day, and both the Sun and Jupiter being in the element of water, the chart is radical by triplicity. Stood alone, this relationship suggests a draw.

Yet in relation to the angular variations as calculated, we would have to consider the following;

The Ascendant; will make a square to Saturn at 23SC11 through signs of Long ascension. Saturn is Lord of the 7th, and it could be worth examining whether this promoted a draw or was good for the guests.

The MC; will make a square to Venus at 8AQ39 through signs of short ascension. Could the help the favourite, or someone in a weak position (the square through signs of short ascension 'saves the day'). But more significantly, the sextile to Jupiter, Lord of the Hour, at 10CN35 should emphasis the favourite.

The Part of Fortune; will make a conjunction to Venus, who is Lady of the 10th, at 8AQ39 - and this should indicate the favourite, too. But as Fortuna makes an inconjunct to Jupiter, LHr, from 10AQ35, I would suggest examining a possible long shot.

I haven't got my games sorted out yet, but these notes might give something to work on.

Well, here Jupiter, LHr, at 10CN35 is sextile the MC. Saturn, L7, at 23SC11, is square the Asc. Aquarius is on the Descendant, which I think has a liking for Newcastle. Newcastle are slightly favourites by odds - so it seems like a good bet.

POF is inconjunct Jupiter, LHr, at 10CN25 - so it feels at if the result should be moved away from the expected. It's an event game on paper, and the chart is radical by triplicity - so maybe a draw?

In the Championship - Leicester should beat Blackpool and a 0-1 handicap might be considered. Jupiter is inconjunct POF at 10AQ57, but the Ascendant is 23LE21 and square Saturn at 23SC11. Saturn is L7 and in Scorpio sounds a bit like Blackpool, so I am interested in seeing how this works out. Saturn could be resistance.

Do note the game between Burnley and Leeds. I'm staying off, but the chart has got everything. Asc 23LE08 square Saturn at 23SC11, MC at 8TA15 square Venus at 8AQ29, and POF at 10AQ44 inconjunct Jupiter at 10CN33.

In League One I definately want to back Wolves again, who are meeting Shrewsbury. The MC is 8TA23 and square Venus at 8AQ39, and POF is 10AQ14 inconjunct Jupiter, LHr, at 10CN35 - so in my opinion this game might offer an outside result. Wolves have has 3 goal win in all their last 4 matches. The 0-1 handicap is priced at 2,00:1, the 0-2 handicap is 3,45:1 and the 0-3 handicap is 6,50:1. Will Wolves want to save their best players? The 5-0 win is priced at 25:1, and 6-0 is 50:1. Is it possible? We will see.

Lousy! British football got everything wrong and I have to ask why?
On a personal level I was hoping Cardiff would win points against Everton, but they were robbed in the 90th minute. Result 2-1.
