What is happening in the U.S. now and in the near future?

to zoidsoft and Mark: I also owe quite a bit to Chris Hedges' analysis. To keep current I also read Yes! magazine. I quote from an article in it's summer, 2014 edition," First the Anger, Then the Love, Why Climate Change is Personal" by activist Tim DeChristopher:
"That's why I think activism right now is so critical. The only thing inevitable about our future is that the status quo ca not continue. We know things are going to change. But we can go down very different roads from this point.
"There's an opportunity now to build a society in the ashes of this one that is much more in line with our values. There is the opportunity for this disruption to be sort of a mass reflection where we realize that basing society on greed and competition was not the best way to go about things.
Maybe we can do better. But that's not inevitable any more than the ugly path is inevitable, which is to me why our engagement now is really, really critical."
That is my opinion too: each planet has a possible "high" expression, an ugly expression, and a sort of "muddling through" expression.

The king was devastated when he was told the news.
In the following years he tried to father a legitimate son by his new wife, but despite his large number of illegitimate sons, he was unable to do so. King Henry then tried a desperate measure; despite the near-universal animus against a woman ruling in her own right, he decided to appoint his only remaining legitimate child .his daughter, the Empress Matilda, as his heir. Matilda, as the wife of Henry V, king of the Germans and Holy Roman Emperor, had deputized for him when he had been absent and was presumably knowledgeable in statecraft. She had borne no children to Henry and after he died in 1125 her father had brought her back home to England. Her married her to Geoffrey "Plantagenet", son of Count Fulk of Anjou, and made his barons swear an oath (on three occasions) to uphold her position as heir to both England and Normandy. The couple's son Henry fitzEmpress was born in 1133.
In 1135, when the progressed Sun reached the South Node, King Henry died. All his carefully laid plans unravelled. Stephen of Blois, son of the Conqueror's daughter Adela, raced to England, where he began by seizing the treasury. In three weeks, he persuaded many of the barons to arrange his coronation, which took place on December 22. This began the period of anarchy (1135-53).
The civil war began in 1139, when Matilda returned to claim her country, accompanied by her half-brother, Robert of Gloucester.
The two sides were fairly evenly matched, so the advantage seesawed between them. Stephen was briefly held prisoner, and Matilda was declared Queen until the progressed Sun reached the natal Moon at 29 PI and she was defeated at the Battle of Farringdon.
In 1146 the Sun progressed into Aries. Robert of Gloucester died in 1147 and in 1148 Matilda left England for Normandy.[/img]

Dear Mark,
I don't know where to find PM. I looked at my email address, but it's not there. Maybe it's in an old address I don't still have.
Hi Teiresias,

Just look to your top left. Do you see the large Skyscript.co.uk banner in dark blue/white on the top left of this web page? If not you may need to scroll up your web page to see it. Below that you will see in small text in red 'Read this first' with arrow pointing right? Below that is a number of options in pale blue. Hit the option 'Check PMs'. Its just above the 'Login in/Out option.

You must be hitting the Login option already or you wouldn't be able to post on the forums!

regards

Mark
