Personally, i don't think this Saturn is all that important to begin with.
Focus on the main significators. In addition, focus on the general tone of the chart. There's one thing that i have very rarely seen to fail - charts cast for turning points in any matter are usually full of critical degrees and signs of a certain change. In this particular chart, you have the ruler of the Quesited on a very late degree, only steps away from crossing the sign boundary, you have the Moon at a very early degree, even the Asc/Desc axis is early (not too early 'tho) and the ruler of the Querent is sitting on the cusp of a new house. All this suggests that the circumstances are about to change or that the situation has recently gone through an intense and huge change.
The Quesited ruled by a very fast planet, placed in a mutable sign and crossing the sign boundary provides a good description of this person's attitude- currently, he is not ready to be tied down. The angularity made him the initiator of the change. L1, on the other hand, respects different values - Jupiter wants dedication. Jupiter cadent in Leo, inside the 9th, wants a steady relationship and longs for a spritual bonding- it is fixed and wants to go no where from this place.

As Paul already poinhted out, the two planets are, indeed, approaching each other only, as with the late degrees, I would take the width of the orb into consideration and allow it to add its own symbolism to the process of delineation. In order to apply to Jupiter, Mercury needs to enter into a new sign forst which means that, either the circumstances need to change drastically, or a very important move needs to be made. However, besides being in the adjacent sign, it is also very far from L1 and, since the application is a sextile, we have to be very careful when determining the accepted orb of application. To me, examining this as a regular application, would mean overstretching the orb. Obviously, we have no time frame here and the future movement of the planets can be examined even after the planets move into new signs and say that there, indeed, is a possibility of the two parties getting back together but, that only brings me back to what Paul has already mentioned- at what cost and is getting back to him what she really wants?! The extended orb and the sign boundary are surely saying something and I'm pretty sure that it is actually saying that the application, although possible, isn't promising a real happy ending. Needless to add, some astrologers would dismiss it all together due to the sign boundary.
This "interposing" period or the necessity to change many things or go thorough a certain phase before reaching the goal is, in my opinion confirmed by another aspect in the chart. Note that the Moon has also started translating the light from Mercury to jupiter however, just like in the first case, it had to change signs first and, finnaly, before it reaches Jupiter, it'll square the Sun at 9,55? which, again, looks like an obstacle. The Sun is moving towards a very important angle, it is the dispositor of L1 and, by forming a square with the other luminary, it announces very stressful activities.
So, in my opinion, the Sun, along with the influence of the 9th house (L1 ruled by Jupiter that has got a lot in common with the 9th and placed inside the 9th has somethinhg to say) is worth deeper investigation than Saturn. The separation of the Moon from Mars and Saturn inside the 12th is actually quite expected in a chart cast for a relationship that has recently been abruptly terminated (Mars/Moon) and in which one of the persons has experienced rejection and loneliness (Moon/Saturn/12th).

Hi Aglaya and Paul,

thanks to you both. It's pretty much similar to what my other horary friend and I noticed.

There is an old saying "A broken vase will not sound the same no matter how much you try to make it sound like new."

Paul, I asked her that exact question. "Why are you asking then?" She said "If he walked away now after telling me he wants to spend the rest of his life with me (at least talked about it) How can I trust him when sh*t will hit the fan next time?" So here we got trust issues. That would explain such weak reception between two.

Aglaya, trust issues. That is all I can think of plus he is having $$$ problems from the look of it. When I spoke to her, even I was getting mad at him for the way he did things. I can imagine her "rage" when they were talking. He said I am not ready for marriage, she said okay look forget marriage, cant we date like normal people with no pressure. he replied NO!
Just judging by the reception I am not seeing a happy ending or Jupiter will get bored and leave.

That Sun I have no idea who it is! I am outruling dad because he said "Let her deal with this I am not getting involved. Let her learn on her own. I like this kid but he was wrong!" It could be her friend from Australia. They talk every day, she tells him everything. He is much older than her and a very good friend, he told her "That kid needs to grow the **** up!"
If it is not a person then could be just her decision to walk away.


If it corules him, then it doesnt make any sense. I really really don't know!


Going back to sextile - it is an opportunity BUT we need to have strong planets and strong reception. We got Merc about to change - from good to bad and stable Jupiter just doesnt want to bulge. It is like she has a plan and she is sticking with it. He is the one who is adjusting. So yeah I can see her saying after a few dates if they get back "ya know what I dont want to be with you."

Aglaya, I got a bit ahead of you on loneliness. I asked her "Are you lonely? is that why you are asking?" she replied "No! My family is pressuring me to get married and have a kid. I'd like to but assholes all over. This one has problems but at least I can have a decent conversation with and a lot in common and that thing (sex) is good. If not my family pressuring me, I would have said "I rather be alone!" So i told her dad about the pressure, he goes "it's her mom and relatives that are getting on her nerves. things are bad! One of them suggested artificial insemination for her (donor) if she wont find a guy. This is going on while I am at work! I said HELL NO! I dont want her to settle down just for anyone but out of all the idiots that are around .. this is gold. he is far from ideal. Money problems, job, he is swinging like a pendelium! What do you want me to do? She doesnt go out sits and studying day and night"

Back to him he s going into libra. So i m questioning his intentions if he doesnt want to settle down why going to her. Shrug.

There is a lot of pressure on her from all sides.

Today is 9th day... lets see if he calls. If we are talking about a drastic change, then I highly doubt this is days issue more like weeks. We got too many mutables.

The applying (but out of orb) sextile could hardly have indicated days, especially if one also takes into account the following - Jupiter which is the planet applied to is one of the superiors, in a fixed sign of long ascension, cadent in the 9th and in a slow, descending part of heaven all of which testify to longer time-units.

Yeah i know. I was testing out perfection of an aspect via the actual perfection date. We don't have too many if any cardinal/angular placements and judging by the speed of the planets, it is pretty slow!
