by Andrew Bevan Depends who they are playing. Moon in Aries could be a disadvantage for teams ruled by Libra in particular. I wouldn't feel there was much help to be gained for Cancer, either, when weighing other factors up against each other. Virgo-ruled teams are a kind of difficult because of the inconjunct aspect together with the antiscia (in comparison or maybe contrast, Scorpio and Aquarius do not mix well - but are particular in that they are violent and seperative signs). Aries and Scorpio are inconjunct - but there is the sympathy of both signs being ruled by Mars. Capricorn is square Aries, but is not all negative since Mars is exalted in Capricorn and the relationship is cast through signs of short ascension. http://www.astronor.com Quote Fri May 11, 2007 8:04 pm
by Gem The Moon's in Aries, so does that mean all the Aries teams will win? There's obviously more to it than that, but I guess it's a start An interesting idea, though I wouldn't know which teams are ruled by Aries. We certainly won't see many goals tomorrow, as the orb between Jupiter and the Moon is about ten degs, the Moon is just emerging 'VOC'. I haven't checked all the different coordinates but the AC ranges from 21 Virgo to 23 Virgo and the MC, from 18 Gemini to 21 Gemini. It's interesting that some teams have the AC exactly at the antiscia of the Moon at 7 Aries 7, which may make a diffrence in the result. Andrew The Eurovision contest sounds like a very good occasion to observe the efficacy of the associations, although other elements may be also relevant such as the charts of the individuals. 123 by Ficina Thanks, Andrew. According to Bills, Blackburn are Aries and they are playing Reading who are Virgo. I would guess Arsenal are also favoured by Aries Moon? They are playing Portsmouth who are Leo according to Bills, yet their strip is blue. (A similar conflict to the Holland one you mentioned.) So do we go by cities or colours? Goca gets good results using colours. So perhaps another way of approaching the 3pm matches would be to look at the chart and decide whether the Asc or Desc team will win. Say we go for the Desc (Pisces in this case) and check which team in every game has the appropriate colours? Would be interested to hear people's views on this. Quote Sat May 12, 2007 9:39 am
by Gem I wrote earlier that we might not see many goals tomorrow but the opposite may be the case! because the Moon is in an angular house and in an applying trine to Jupiter though the orb is wide(the moiety between the Moon and Jupiter is 10.5) Quote Sat May 12, 2007 10:44 am
by Ficina Hi Gem, I agree the orb is rather wide. Maybe the goals will be scored late on? Interesting observation about antiscion Moon on Asc in some of the games. Not sure how that might work. It's very difficult to generalise isn't it? Although having said that, the games played on 21st April had the Moon VOC, which often indicates a draw. Five out of the eight games were draws. Very unusual, given the overall average of 25%. In betting terms, a multi bet would probably have yielded a return even with three results incorrect. Quote Sat May 12, 2007 12:13 pm
by Yikkes! Hi Folks!!!! Sorry I've been away! My computer corrupted so I had an enforced break. What's the News?!! H. Opps nearly forgot. Using Horary, "The Gift", I get Utd 1 - 0 Chelsea in 90 mins Utd 2 - 1 Chelsea in 90 mins Liverpool 0 - 1 AC Milan in 90 mins Liverpool 0 - 2 AC Milan in 90 mins I also had Utd West 3 - 1 Ham or 2 - 0 Yikkes! 127 by Gem Hi Yikkes! Glad to see you back. Now on to yesterday's results: ten identical charts and a variety of scorelines! 6 draws, 2 Home wins and 2 Away wins; the number of goal per game ranges from 0-6; 15 goals for the Home teams and 14 goals for the Away temas. I really don't know what to make of it all. Normal rules don't apply when ten matches kick off at the same time ? It looks like there's more than the event chart and other factors involved such as that ManU didn't have to win while W Ham had to; the birth chart of relegated Sheffield maybe indicating a turning point?? and so on. It threw me into a despair... I'd love to hear what other people think. But the chart isself does look it can go either way. Ficina and Goca Can I ask you a question each? Ficina, do you look at the Lords 4 and 10 too? Goca, in your list of indications of draws, when you refer to malefics, do you only have Mars and Satrun in mind? or do you include the outer planets? 128 by Gem Ficina Say we go for the Desc (Pisces in this case) and check which team in every game has the appropriate colours? Did you experiment with this? The AC is the most powerful point in the chart and I am happy with giving faves and the home team, who are more advantageously placed, the AC but we certainly seem to need 'something else' for this kind of situation. 129 by Ficina Welcome back, Yikkes! Wondered where you'd gone Gem, here are my thoughts on yesterday's games. The Moon was technically VOC which would explain the unusually high number of draws. Personally I have difficulty seeing Moon VOC when it is near the beginning of a sign and will obviously make some aspects before it leaves the sign. In light of what happened yesterday though, I shall be reconsidering this in future games. If I'd looked at the 3pm chart as a one off game, Moon in 7th would definitely show a win for the Away team. But common sense tells us that all ten games won't be Away wins. So which were the high profile games, the ones in the public eye? Those involving relegation issues I would say, so Sheff Utd v Wigan and ManU v West Ham. In fact Five Live chose the Sheff Utd match for their radio commentary. Both games resulted in Away wins. Easy with hindsight isn't it? To answer your questions. I used to look at L4 and L10 but eventually gave up on them as they didn't really prove helpful and also I like to try and keep things simple. But do experiment for yourself. I didn't look at team colours. Too much like hard work with so many games! Also I don't feel totally comfortable with this approach. Goca obviously does feel comfortable with it. Of course there's no right or wrong method but feeling comfortable with a method is very important I think. Quote Mon May 14, 2007 10:31 am
by Gem Ficina Thank you for your thoughts. Your observations about the VOC Moon is very interesting. The Moon in the 7th is an advantage for the Away team but the 7th ruler Jupiter is Rx and below the horizon so there`re mixed testimonies. I read in the paper that the match at Bramall Lane was delayed; how much delayed, I wonder. Back to the UEFA Champions League, I`d like to compare the Final chart with the 2005 Final Chart, where Liverpool won on penalties: 1/1/06, Istanbul. I searched the web but couldn`t find the kick-off time. Can anyone help me please? Quote Mon May 14, 2007 11:08 am
by Goca Gem, Goca, in your list of indications of draws, when you refer to malefics, do you only have Mars and Satrun in mind? or do you include the outer planets? Ma and Sa are malefics and I consider them on the first pace, and outher planets as additional sign, not main. I stick to Frawley's method and do not look aspects of rulers of ASC nad DSC, only accidental dignities. After I decide which is stronger I look at 10th and 4th house just to see if state there suppport my decision in some way. On more thing must check out. If ruler for example of 10th is close to cusp inside 7 house that is advantage for DSC team (DSC team controlos result of ASC team). This also stands for ruler of 4 insisde of 1st house clouse to cusp... Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Mon May 14, 2007 11:28 am
by Ficina The Moon in the 7th is an advantage for the Away team but the 7th ruler Jupiter is Rx and below the horizon so there`re mixed testimonies That's true but I've generally found that angular Moon overrules everything else. Not always, but nearly always. 1st, 7th & 10th being most reliable (but not 100%), 4th less reliable. I didn't notice that the Bramall Lane match was delayed. I switched on the radio just after 3 and I'm sure it had started. It finished late because there was lots of added time in both halves due to injuries. Found 2005 final in my chart files It was on 25 May at 21.45 EEDT. Quote Mon May 14, 2007 11:47 am
