Well done everybody and I have to congratulate myself on my call on the Chelsea-ManU game (for a consolation anyway); I thought while listening to the radio commentary that they could win and deserved to win. All the three comentators on the radio kept saying 'Chelsea are slow', which made me wonder if chelsea were signified by the slow Mercury(L7) especially because Chelsea had revenge on their mind with the last encounter between them being Chelsea's humiliating defeat in Moscow. ManU were a better team in the first half but what a shame collecting such a large pile of Yellow cards! I wonder if that's to do with a slow significator too, though I haven't checked how slow Jupiter is now.

Yes, Gem, you went for a draw too, well done I watched the 2nd half of the game and Chelsea were the better side. I'm sorry I didn't see the 1st half because the radio commentators said it was the best ManU had played so far this season.

Jupiter is slow too, coming out of station, but I think Mercury is worse off, slowing down to station and I'd say this was why the away team/underdogs couldn't win. There were 4 draws this weekend and no underdog victories.

Susie, I think Pluto conj Asc in Spurs/Wigan chart is perfectly reflected in the 0-0 result. Again, I reckon Wigan were unable to capitalise on it because they were the slow Mercury.

Yeah, 6-0 Crazy result! But Pluto was 5 degs off the Asc in that chart - too far away to count. I did go for a Man City win but it had nothing to do with astrology. I think we have to consider other things with these 3pm games. I knew they had some good goal scorers in their team, although I didn't reckon on six! I went for 3-1. Poor Portsmouth indeed.

How are your predictions for this weekend coming? I've just finished mine, and I will NOT touch them again - if I do, I normally regret it. Like I changed Arsenal-Bolton's result last weekend 30 mins before the game, so instead of 3 points, I ended up getting only 1

And I agree with John: knowing something about the teams is more of a hindrance than a help - it definitely sways your judgement. Blissfully unaware seems to work best for me.

The Carling Cup yesterday was messy. Fancy Villa loosing to QPR 0-1. Brighton sent ManC home in tears (7-5 after penalties) and Blackburn beat Everton 1-0. The chart for the latter match was radical, which according to theory saves the favourites by odds, Blackburn, from some of the dirt flying round the pitch. But all the same...

The exception was Man City who apparently got complacent once they were 1-0 up. This was the 8pm game and I noted that POF was sextile its dispositor, Jupiter - a testimony for the faves. I thought that Mars conj Spica would have overruled this, but apparently not.

I've only just had a chance to look at these. The 3pm games are interesting. Two have Cap Asc with Moon conj Saturn and the other four have Sag Asc with Pluto conjunct. Like last weekend, Mercury is still slow, although gathering speed, but now retro. There are some other testimonies in these charts too.....
