by PallasAthene Cheers Goca, wishful thinking. This is the race: http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racecard ... 90,00.html Campanus 5th, next planet it hits is marsRx in leo in 3rd Rear Gunner AND the colours fit leo, yellow and purple, "royal colours". BUT it's a semisextile. Maybe that's the rub. TRINE to mercRX in cap in 7th follows a couple of degrees later. Mercury conj NN.. is that where to look? Sheriff Hutton / Rodrigo Gonzales / Polyfast all seem to fit 7th, named person, mercury/cap colours. Maybe Polyfast is the best fit?? Quote Wed Dec 23, 2009 8:10 pm
by taurean There's the angular planets and Moon aspects method, which Ficina mentioned earlier. Using my take on that method, what we have here: Moon sextile MC: there's a probability that the winning horse will be one that's somewhat favorite, not an underdog. Angles: there's a bunch of planets near the DSC. The conjunction with Venus is separating, I hope it won't matter. Pluto is close on the DSC. In case of a certain delay, there may be an applying conjunction with the Sun. Too bad I don't know the odds yet so I can't consider the Moon-MC aspect. Based solely on Pluto, my bet would go on Nomecheki and/or Sheriff Hutton. As for your analysis PA, Rear Gunner is very good for Mars indeed, for Mercury, stripes are good, like Sheriff Hutton, and maybe you should consider Nikos Extra too with his stripes, yellow is - I guess - OK for Mercury. 123 by PallasAthene Thanks for looking taurean. O well, I won't be rich this Christmas then, too many variables! Will post the result. Merry Christmas! Quote Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:45 pm
by PallasAthene Seems like it was the merc trine.. Polyfast at 11/1.. red stars on brown. Quote Sun Dec 27, 2009 2:25 pm

In the meantime, my analysis wasn't very successful, to say the least. The winner wasn't a favorite, and with Pluto on DSC, I was expecting black "among the winning colors". It was brown, but not black. Anyway, dark... The funny thing is, after your analysis pointing to Mercury, I played the fave Nikos Extra (Mercury - Gemini - stripes ) to be placed. And I won (odds 2,02), as he finished 3rd. Surely not a brave bet, playing the fave to be placed. Quote Sun Dec 27, 2009 5:28 pm
by PallasAthene No, I didn't bet on Polyfast, it looked too confusing. Will i profit on Rear Gunner was correct as well! Came 6th. http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racecard ... 38,00.html Campunus 5th to mars again by semisextile, then to mercrx in cap in 7th (again) so I'm going with mercury. Dollydo is the only filly, and has a name Robin de Vassey/Ferbane Man/Johan Sebastien are all named... So that's 4 possibles out of 11 hahaha http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racecard ... 07,00.html OK, THIS ONE is definitely marsRx in leo in 5th!!! The Tother One, or Beai Bai (short odds for a change) Quote Sun Dec 27, 2009 7:38 pm

by taurean Today, Kempton 18:50. The Campanus-5th method points to Uranus. What I find interesting is this: POFnight-conjunct-Neptune (quite wide though, and separating), and the Moon trines both (not that wide but again separating). The fave horse is named Blue Neptune. (Note: there is one more astrology-related name here, Kings of Leo. ) Just for fun, I'm going to bet on BN, will decide whether to win or the be placed. The corresponding odds are - at the moment - 5,7 / 2,06. Quote Wed Dec 30, 2009 6:20 pm
by PallasAthene Hey I ran the chart, bit late, sorry. Campanus 5th to merc Rx in cap.. Wanchai Whisper won. Wanchai is an area in Hong Kong, so that's a Chinese whisper...mercury retro.. get it??? . Maroon suits cap too. That is a classic! Send it to Frawley for his next book! Or Goca should put it on her site. : ) Quote Wed Dec 30, 2009 11:51 pm
