Overview

The majority of Tina's planets are above the horizon, an indication that most of what she does gets public recognition and with four planets in the public houses (8,9,10,11) much of her energy is spent in activities that happen in front of the public. She has six planets in the Fire signs indicating she exhibits a good deal of enthusiasm and zeal in what she does and with four planets in the Psychic houses (4, 8, 12) she puts a good deal of energy into dealing with whatever goes on behind the scenes in her life.

With six planets in the Western hemisphere her life was largely shaped by circumstance and with seven planets in the mutable signs she was highly capable of adapting to whatever came her way although often she may have been too adaptable; luckily, two planets in the fixed signs indicate she was also capable of standing her ground when necessary.

Like Jane Addams, Tina Turner also had an elevated Uranus that was not joined to any planets. While Addams Uranus was direct, in its own light, in a mutable sign displaying her individuality often and in multiple situations; Tina's Uranus is in a fixed sign, and retrograde moving towards its 2nd station, indicating it was slower to manifest her unique abilities but when they did show they exhibited themselves abruptly, and permanently marked her career.
