A possibility for an 'outstanding incident' for Obama

Gallup: GOP Has Largest Poll Lead Ever
Monday, 30 Aug 2010 10:17 PM :

?A new Gallup poll released Monday shows Republicans with a record 10-point edge over Democrats on the "generic ballot" test ? the question of whether voters prefer a Democratic or Republican congressional candidate. It?s the largest GOP polling edge at this stage in the 68 years of the generic ballot poll, Politico first reported. The news is so discouraging that an increasing number of Democratic strategists now say privately that they fear the House is already lost, Politico reports.
The Gallup poll, coming at the end of a brutal August for Democrats and President Barack Obama, reinforces the rapidly forming prevailing view that the horizon is as bleak for Democrats as it ever has been.
The 51-41 percent edge Republicans have now represents the largest Republican edge heading into a midterm election since the poll was first conducted in the 1942 election cycle, giving them greater reason for optimism than in the weeks leading up to their 1952 and 1994 House takeovers. It also represents a stunning reversal from the 6-point lead Democrats posted in the poll in mid-July. ?
If these poll numbers don?t change, there is going to be an ?outstanding incident? occur in Obama?s life pertaining to the Nov. 2nd Midterm Elections, where he will loose much of his political power by loosing majority control of Congress in the Mid-Term elections.
The above chart is Obama?s Precessed Lunar Return, relocated to DC, which precedes the Mid-Term election on Nov. 2nd 2010. This lunar return chart is clearly foretelling an ?outstanding incident? with severe loses in the Mid-Term election according to Jim Eshelman?s teachings from ?Interpreting Solar Return.? As we can see there is a tight angular placement of Neptune on the Ascendant of Obama?s Lunar Return. Neptune receives one partile ?dynamic? 135 aspect from Saturn and a tight 90 from Mars. Obama?s angular Lunar Neptune is afflicted with both malefics?Saturn & Mars. Jim teaches us when there are angular placements with partile aspects we can expect to see an ?outstanding incident? pertaining to the partile planetary symbolism. Donald Bradley, a brilliant astrological researcher in the 50?s & 60?s, wrote on page 55 of his book ?Solar and Lunar Returns pertaining to angular Saturn-Neptune Symbolism:
?A real throne-toppler, this. Among its paramount key words is ?removal,? for Saturn-Neptune surely takes first prize for forcing resignations, abdications, exiles, deportations, and firings from jobs.?
Obama will not lose his job as President, but as we can see from the tones of the above delineated quote, it is foretold he will suffer political defeats.

If you calculate this same chart relocated to DC, without correcting for precession, Neptune is far removed from the angle; thus losing the defined principle from Jim?s book which teaches when angular planets are present in return charts and receives partile aspects an ?outstanding incident? is foretold.

On page 8 of this thread, I explained how I implement the use of Lunar Returns. The Post subject on page 8 is titled ?Subservient? Lunar Returns to Solar Returns. It would help to reread this post on page 8 for a better understanding how lunar returns in their time frames can, at times, pinpoint ?outstanding incidents? in the life of a native.

Hello Steve,

Though I haven't commented much in recent weeks, I just wanted to say that every word is being read. (and most of it re-read)

Thank you so much for taking the time and for being so clear in your presentation.

You've put a very important methodology on the table. I hope others are also soaking this all up...

Peace

Thanks Atlantean for your supported words. As Philip Graves has so aptly recognized and confirmed by Robert Hand, much of the fine astrological research that occurred in the 20th Century is in jeopardy of being lost to present and future astrologers. So much of this 20th Century astrological material is out of print and at times very difficult to locate. I endeavor to pass-on to other astrologers some of this 20th Century astrological knowledge-- so they may one day pass-on to future astrologers this same astrological knowledge. I also deeply feel there is much more astrological/astronomical knowledge, yet to be discovered, particularly from precessional astronomy monumentized by the ancient Egyptians.

Hi Trojan,
?Solar Returns are transit-based techniques. They arise from a precise aspect (conjunction) of the transiting Sun with the natal Sun. They consist of transiting planets at a given moment in time, near or on one?s birthday, locked into collusion with natal planets for a year to follow.? Page 6, ?Interpreting Solar Returns.?
Jim?s book teaches the importance of reading a Solar Return ?twice, involving two very distinct examinations.? First reading involves reading a Solar Return ?without recourse to natal planets.? Jim gives his rules in his book for the first reading. After the first reading, Jim then constructs a bi-wheel by placing the natal chart wheel on the outside (with SolarFire) of the Solar Return Wheel. Jim then reads this bi-wheel as the second reading for the Solar Return, carefully noting any natal planets that are angular and/or solar planets (which are transits to natal planets), that tightly or partiles conjunct or opposes natal planets. Jim discusses this second reading of a solar return, bi-wheeled to the natal chart, in chapter 6 of his book titled ?Second Time Through-Wheels Within Wheels.? It is very important for the learning student to always bi-wheel the solar return to the natal chart for a ?second? reading, after the ?first? reading the solar return by itself. With the ?second? reading, sometimes we find very striking solar planets aspected to natal planets. Sometimes these aspected solar planets to natal planets will be angular (very important) on the solar return chart?sometimes they will not be angular but still very important particularly if the aspect of the solar planet to the natal planet is partile. Never forget, ?Partile aspects reign supreme.? Whenever we find solar transiting planets aspecting natal planets, these transits are ?locked-in? or ?freeze-framed? with their planetary symbolism for the entire solar year. Or in Jim?s words, ?the solar return planets are locked into collusion with natal planets for a year to follow.? It is critical for the student to understand this teaching ?Wheels Within Wheels? principle from Jim?s book because it damn sure will screen and isolate the important transits in an individual?s life with important manifested life incidents according to the planetary symbolism. Any serious astrologer knows most transits will manifest no noticeable effects involving significant life incidents. On page 10 of this thread, BiBi offered an outstanding example from her life with this ?Wheels Within Wheels? principle with her 2005 Solar Return. Using a stand alone ?first? reading of BiBi?s 2005 Solar Return, we see a tight angular solar Moon with a partile 135 to solar Mars. Jim?s book clearly teaches us this solar return will produce an ?outstanding? Martian ?incident? simply because we have an angular solar Moon receiving a partile ?dynamic? aspect from solar malefic Mars. But, this ?first? reading of BiBi?s 2005 solar Return does not absolutely tell the astrologer in what specific sphere of her life she will be afflicted by the Martian symbolism. However, when the student applies Jim?s second reading of BiBi?s 2005 solar return using his ?Wheels Within Wheels? bi-wheel principle with the solar return and natal chart, the astrologer immediately sees that her solar Moon is partile conjunct her Natal Venus. In other words, at the very moment (the computer calculates the solar return to 1 second of arc clock time from her birth time) of her 2005 solar return, transiting Moon (Solar Moon) is partile conjunct her natal Venus. This conveys to the mind of the astrologer, the ?outstanding? Martian ?incident? foretold by the ?first? reading of the stand alone solar return will have very high probability pertaining to Love/Romance?because of the transit of Solar Moon to her Natal Venus. Everyone receives a partile transit of Moon to their Natal Venus every month of their life without an ?outstanding? love ?incident? occurring in their life. But Jim?s book clearly teaches us that BiBi?s 2005 Solar Return has ?locked into collusion? with Natal Venus ?BIG TIME! Before the weekend is over, I will give you another chart example from my personal files that will illustrate when a Solar Return is ?colluding? with natal planets for ?outstanding incidents.?

BiBi asked:
So, it's basically a term for a very precise level of synchronicity?
At times there is a definite ?collusion? effect with the Solar Return Planets to Natal Planets. All I really know is Jim Eshelman has produced a very excellent book for the astrologer to study and learn. His book is full of astrological knowledge. His teachings offer consistency and can be illustrated and proven with AA rated birth times.

Solar Return analysis including 'collusion' effect

Image
The above Solar Return is one of my favorites from my personal files, because it embodies so many of Jim?s Eshelman?s primary teaching principles in his book ?Interpreting Solar Returns,? including the ?collusion? effect of Solar planets aspecting Natal Planets.

I am going to delineate this Solar Return using aspect quotes from Reinhold Ebertin?s book, ?The Combination of Stellar Influences,? then I am going to tell you what happen in the Native?s life during her 2003 Solar Year. The native is a 53 year old Female happily married with no children. She lives in a rural area in a historical home built in the 1890?s. Her great passion in life is preserving and restoring old historic homes. She is the President of the Preservation Society in a small town and is politically active for preserving any old buildings/homes that are to be destroyed by its township. *Note her Natal four planet configuration in the 4th house ruling ?Homes.?

Jim teaches the student to first start with angular planets in a return chart then analysis the dynamic partile aspects. After this process, Jim devotes close attention to Solar Moon with its aspects to Solar Planets and Natal Planets. Cyril Fagan stressed the importance of secondary progressed Solar Moon partile aspects to Solar and Natal Planets stating when a partile conjunction or opposition of secondary progressed Solar Moon occurs, it will pinpoint the timing of major events in ones life.

Starting with the angles of the native?s 2003 Solar Return for our first reading, we see Venus in the immediate foreground 5 degrees from the MC in the 10th House, and Saturn is also in the immediate foreground 7 degrees from the Descendant, in the 6th house. Jim teaches us that foreground planets will offer the planetary ?Themes? for the Solar Year and these planetary ?Themes? will be something the native can readily identify with their individual awareness/consciousness.

Ebertin says pertaining to Venus/MC:
?A sense of beauty and art, individual love??
We already know the 53 old native is happily married so we can remove any cupid effects with this Venus/MC influence with her 2003 Solar Return. Venus receives no tight or partile dynamic aspects so Venus is acting alone with its pure intrinsic influences.

Next we go to angular Saturn in the 6th house. Saturn receives a partile 135 dynamic aspect from Uranus.

Ebertin says the ?Principle? of Saturn/Uranus influences is:
?inhibition, tension?
One of the great teaching principles from Jim?s book, ?Interpreting Solar Returns? is:
?It is when angularity and aspect partility coincide that outstanding incidents are most likely to come about.?
So this Solar Return is foretelling the astrologer there will be an ?outstanding incident? pertaining to the partile dynamic 135 aspect of Saturn-Uranus?or there will be something in the native?s environment during her 2003 Solar Year that will cause ?inhibition and tension??associated with the angular Venus placement. There are two planetary ?Themes? for the Solar Year, Venus and Saturn with the Saturn-Uranus symbolism being the more important foretelling an ?outstanding incident?. Note also Solar Uranus receives a tight conjunction with Solar Mars. Often Uranus is associated with ?sudden and unexpected? situations. This completes the angular analysis for this Solar Return.

*Note: It is very easy for the astrologer to mentally not take angular dynamic partile aspects seriously, but with Solar Returns you MUST TAKE THESE ANGULAR DYNAMIC PARTILE ASPECTS VERY SERIOUSLY. These angular dynamic partile aspects as well as any dynamic partile aspect are NOT A COINCINDENCE when found with Solar Return analysis?they are part of a well orchestrated GEOMETRIC PLAN with the Planetary ?Lords? of the Heaven?s motion above.

Next Jim teaches us to turn our attention to Solar Moon and its aspects to Solar Planets and Natal Planets. Jim teaches that when there is no angular activity in a Solar Return, prominent Solar Moon Aspects can completely dominate a Solar Return. In this Solar Return we have both prominent Angular activity and Solar Moon activity. Jim teaches us to allow wider orbs with Solar Moon analysis but tells us on page 96 of his book that any aspect within 4 degree orb ?we are now encountering very serious influences.? In this Solar Return, Solar Moon is opposing the conjunction Solar Mars and Uranus by 3-4 degrees?a very serious influence. The conjunction of Solar Mars-Uranus is aspecting an angular Solar Saturn and Solar Moon is also aspecting the Solar conjunction of Mars-Uranus by opposition. This Mars-Uranus conjunction in this Solar Return is special and very potent because it aspects an angular Saturn with Uranus partile dynamic 135 Saturn and the Mars-Uranus conjunction is ?seriously aspecting Solar Moon by opposition.

Ebertin says about Mars-Uranus:
?Principle: A sudden application of effort, an intervention in the body (an operation)?? ?An accident.?
But also note Solar Moon is conjuncting Solar Jupiter by 4+ degrees. There is something promised of a Jupiterian nature with this Solar Return. Cyril Fagan has definitely proven to me with his teachings that when Solar Moon by secondary progression goes into partile aspect an event of the nature of the planet aspected to Solar Moon will occur. In four to five months from the native?s 2003 Birthday, 2003 Solar Moon will secondary progress to a partile conjunction with Solar Jupiter.

Ebertin says for Moon-Jupiter symbolism:
?Principle: The feeling of happiness??
?successful or happy women?
?carrying out enterprises on a large scale?
This concludes the first reading of the stand-alone Solar Return, which Jim teaches?now we will do as Jim teaches and do a bi-wheel for a second reading-- putting the Natal Chart on the outside of the Solar Return?looking to see if any Solar Planets are in ?collusion? with any natal planets.

As we can see with our eyes with the above bi-wheel Solar Mars is partile conjunct Natal Moon and Solar Pluto is partile conjunct Natal Mars. Solar Mars and Solar Pluto are in ?collusion? with Natal Moon and Natal Mars.

Ebertin says pertaining to Moon-Mars symbolism:

?Excitement, impulsiveness, expression of intense emotion.?
?Enterprises which have been started with vigor.?

Ebertin says pertaining to Mars-Pluto:

?Superhuman power, the obsession to work without any break, the attainment of success through excessive effort, the misfortune of having to suffer injuries.?

Here is what happened to the native in her 2003 Solar Year:

Four months after her birthday a stranger contacted the Preservation Society of a township which the native was acting President and said he was going to donate an old historic home to the Preservation Society. The was a huge event for the native and she was filled with joy and happiness (Moon-Jupiter). This was a huge EVENT for the native. Secondary progressed Solar Moon had formed a partile conjunction with Solar Jupiter. The native had huge creative plans for beautifying this historic home and site (Angular MC Venus). This is what the native loved to do?restore and beautify old homes. The native was filled with excitement (Moon-Mars). There is a double whammy of Moon-Mars symbolism with her 2003 Solar Return. Solar Moon opposes Solar Mars and Solar Mars partile conjunct Natal Moon.

A month later the stranger contacted the native and said he changed his mind and wanted the old home removed from his property within two weeks?otherwise he was going to tear down the old home. The Preservation Society organization did not have the funds nor would the township donate the funds to relocate the historic old home. The native panic and quickly worked out a deal to get a-lot of old historic wood from the inside of the home. The stranger agreed but only gave the Society a couple of weeks to remove the old wood. This greatly angered the native (Partil Tansit of Solar Mars conjunct her Natal Mars). The native worked tirelessly removing the old wood but eventually worked herself into a state of exhaustion (PartileTransit of Solar Pluto conjunct Natal Mars). As we can see the Solar Mars & Solar Pluto ?colluded? with her Natal Moon & Mars that created this powerful psychological and physical effect.

One day, June 3rd 2004, she was on a latter removing a stubborn wood plank and fell of the latter and broke her angle requiring an operation with several metal pins placed in her angle (Mars-Uranus symbolism--operation). The surgical operation placed her under much ?inhibition and tension? (Angular Solar Saturn partile 135 Solar Uranus), because she missed several weeks from her regular job. Also on June 3rd, 2004, her Natal progressed secondary Moon was in partile opposition to her Natal Pluto. Remember to always monitor (for events) aspects with the four Moons-Natal Moon, Secondary progressed Natal Moon, Solar Moon, and secondary progressed Solar Moon. In this case, all four of these Moon?s were aspected BIG TIME during her 2003 Solar Year. On the day of her accident, there were prominent Quotidian Charts but I don?t have any more time to illustrate these Quotidian Charts. Anyway, this is an excellent example of many of Jim's primary teachings from his book.

Hi Steve,
you are very generous :' Thank you!

For timing in your case we can also see application of progressed SR Moon to Solar Pluto and to natal Mars in less than ten months. Application is by square.
In my recent cases I found squares where progressed Solar Moon is involved very potent.

Now I understand, collusion is kind of a mixture of highly precise synchronicity, with a mixture of natal planets being closely activated, especially in the foreground! Very neat (an eventful year)
Yes, at times the Solar Return will be in ?collusion? with our Natal Planets, ?especially in the foreground.? When the angles of a Solar Return are tightly or partile in orb with Natal Planets/Configurations this is BIG TIME important. When this happens it tells us the TIME in our life when our important Natal Configuration will manifest. Our Natal aspects tell us WHAT we will experience in life and our Solar Return angles in ?collusion? with our Natal aspects tell us WHEN we will experience these Natal imprints. I have several examples of this ?collusion? effect and will post them. In fact a very striking example of this ?collusion? effect has recently occurred with one of my associates. I will try to post this recent example today or tomorrow.

Solar Return 'Collusion' with the Natal Chart

168
Image
The above bi-wheel, Solar Return inside wheel-Natal Chart outside wheel, is a recent interesting case example from my personal files pertaining to the ?collusion? effect of a Solar Return with the Natal Chart. Birth Time is AA rated with Birth Certificate in hand.

First, looking at the Natal Chart we see a partile Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in the 8th House. Deb writes about 8th house influences:
?All matters relating to death, decay, fear, anxiety and loss. The quality and nature of death. Who shall be heir to the deceased. Unexpected inheritance, wills, legacies and testaments of the deceased (note that paternity - wealth from the parents - is also shown by the 4th house). Money belonging to a partner, spouse or other party??
The native?s 98 year old Mother passed away recently and the native is going to inherit a LARGE amount of money. The will is being probated and the native told me he expects to take full control of his Mother?s estate by the end of the year-so the Solar Return we will be discussing is the native?s up-coming Nov. 29th 2010 Solar Return.

There is an interesting story behind this inheritance. The native?s Father amassed this large estate by inheriting a large estate from his Father and then making wise investments that grew this other generation?s estate. When the native?s Father passed away, the native?s Mother inherited the estate which was actually a trust fund. The trust fund was willed to the native?s Mother with Will instructions this estate would be willed to his son, the native, when his Wife, the native?s Mother passed away The interest alone from this estate is what supported the native?s Mother and was enough to support several families. But the native later found out his Mother was a miser without the native?s Father knowing about this miser effect. Subsequently, the native never received any financial support from his Mother.

Looking closely at the native?s Natal Chart, we note his partile Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in the 8th house receives a partile 120 from Natal Moon. Pluto also receives a partile 135 from Natal Sun with Jupiter tight 135 Natal Sun. This 8th house partile Jupiter-Pluto conjunction SHINES with the Natal lights in partile aspect. This Jupiter-Pluto conjunction also receives a partile 45 from Natal Neptune which could explain why the Mother never shared the large interest earnings from this estate with her Son. The native has been struggling to makes ends meet financially and for the last 15 years he and his wife have been living on Social Security. Another interesting astronomical fact about this 8th house Jupiter-Pluto conjunction is it is also in mundo partile conjunction?a line-up in the heavens. It is rare to see Pluto in zodiacal and mundo conjunction at the same time. Some astrologers feel mundo conjunctions are much more powerful than zodiac conjunctions. Regardless, we can easily see this 8th house Jupiter-Pluto conjunction is a very potent conjunction and clearly dominates this Natal Chart. There has also been correlation by other astrologers; when wealth is an issue with astrological analysis, Pluto seems to hold prominent positions with chart analysis, and Pluto certainly holds a prominent position in the native?s Natal Chart.

Now look at the outside wheel, the Natal Chart, and note the Natal Jupiter-Pluto Conjunction is PARTILE SOLAR RETURN ASCENDANT! According to Jim?s teachings from his book, ?Interpreting Solar Returns? this partile angular placement of Natal Jupiter-Pluto on the Solar Return Ascendant is a huge delineating factor for the astrologer. Using the Advanced & Ingress option in SolarFire with calculations of Solar Returns, I calculated all 80 of the native?s Solar Returns to see how many featured a partile placement of his Natal Jupiter-Pluto conjunction on ANY Solar Return Angle. This took me 20 minutes of scanning time and this is the power of the greatest astrological tool ever invented?the Personal Computer with astrological software?this is absolutely remarkable when you stop and think a moment. There were 4 Solar Returns that featured this important natal placement on the solar angles, 1939 when the native was 9 year of age, 1971 natives father still living, 1978 native?s father still living, and this Nov. 2010 when both parents of the native has passed away?allowing a full inheritance of a Will made-up of generations of family history.

When you do your first reading with the stand alone 2010 Solar Return, we see an angular Saturn in the 4th house but un aspected which means no ?outstanding incident? associated with angular Saturn. And then we see a confirming BENEFIC symbolism of a partile opposition of Solar Moon with Solar Jupiter. I asked the native if anything in his Home (Solar Saturn in 4th house) life was inhibiting him with this forthcoming huge inheritance and he said HELL YES?everyone on both sides of his family is begging for money.

Anyway, the main point of this post-- is to illustrate Jim?s teachings of always doing a bi-wheel, with a second reading to determine if the Solar Return is in ?Collusion? with any Natal Factors. As we can see with this example the second reading of the bi-wheel armed the astrologer with important information pertaining to the all important configuration Natal Jupiter-Pluto. This second reading with the bi-wheel actually told the astrologer if he he/she was having a good day WHEN the native would inherit his family?s estate.
