Astro data bank gives that 8.02am birth time for Hillary Clinton, which gives her Moon as 22 degrees Pisces 51 minutes, which today was transited by the notorious retrograde Mercury in 22.5 to 23 degrees Virgo.

This Mercury retrograde seems to be quite virulently affecting communications at the moment.

Not only that, Fleur, but Clinton today had to leave her 9/11 reviewing stand early, and was just diagnosed with pneumonia!! Her doctor is now treating Clinton with antibiotics and she should be back on the campaign trail soon, but I note that Mercury is one of the rulers of the lungs in medical astrology.

Fascinating if this chart was right Clinton had the Mars-Saturn conj in Sagittarius almost exactly to the degree and arc minute on her IC at 09'51 Sag. She does seem to have been having a rather torrid time lately. This rather fits into a perception many of the public have already that she is not trustworthy or honest.

thanks again! i hadn't thought about it too much, but yes! - mars/saturn conjunction was at 9 sag which would be right on the nadir of the 208am chart.. that certainly seems to fit given what seems like a bumpy ride for her in everything the past few months.. i personally don't think she is a shoe in for this election - never have.. although she has led in the polls i think this election is going to be very close as well..

This is the chart I propose rectified, time 7:03:11 AM (CST), in that Chart the delicate conjunction of Mars / Pluto square the ASC is observed, both ruling planets of the VI House and the ASC. For the current current Solar Return, Pluton is on the cusp of House III Radix and on the cusp VIII Solar, this is not good, plus Saturn semisquare the Cusp XII, where is Mercury / Ret.Sun Uranus, also affecting your health.

Thank you, Mark. These wide screen shots are caused by working on wide monitors. I discovered this recently when I purchased a new wide monitor. I found that if I set my wide monitor to the old 4:3 ratio (black bars on the sides), Solar Fire and other programs then place everything in the square format, and text is the right size to read easily.

There are various forums on the Internet that give instructions for re-setting the screen format. You have to adjust your video card in Windows to re-set the screen size. The reason we now have wide monitors is that the manufacturers are mindlessly following the TV ratio of 16:9, which doesn't work well for business and most professional software. Wide screens are mostly good for newer games and watching movies on your computer.

The best 4:3 ratio is 1024x768. Other 4:3 settings are 1280x960 and 1600x1200. There are others. It all depends on the video card and monitor. I just learned about all of this in the last few days as I noticed various distortions on the wide screen.

To me, the issue is not Hillary Clinton's health. Many presidential candidates and serving presidents had known prior health conditions that were far more serious. Think of FDR in a wheel chair from polio (4 terms,) Eisenhower with a heart attack and stroke while in office (2 terms,) JFK with such a bad back he needed serious pain killers, LBJ with a heart attack and gall bladder problems (2nd term,) and so on. Obviously the right would like to see Clinton become too ill to continue her campaign, if not drop dead on the spot. It's gotten a little silly: the woman has hay fever and pneumonia, and was obviously driving herself too hard when she attended the 9/11 ceremony. That would be consistent with Clinton's big Scorpio-Leo squares. But these illnesses are not disqualifying or life-threatening.

To me the question is, what is with the American public about Clinton's health, recently?

I also checked the 2:08 ascendant degree in ADB. There were 50 charts with that degree rising. There was only one politician born in 1928, but 10 people in the entertainment business, 7 homosexuals, and 5 astrologers plus a number of unfortunate births (homicides, suicides, etc.) and a few miscellaneous careers.

So taking only the ascendant degree, a political career isn?t suggested. (I?ve been doing a lot of work lately with ascendant degrees, taking a cue from the Hellenistic Monomoiria and India?s Shastyamsas, half degree divisions of signs.)

True, but so is the following: JFK had a bad back in part due to a war injury which the public would see as a badge of honor. His Addison's Disease was not public knowledge until after his death. He was twice given the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church in his youth, and that was never revealed either for fear of negative consequences at the ballot box. FDR's polio was known, but newsreels and photographs were made in such a fashion as to minimize the severity. Polio limited mobility, not desk work. LBJ's didn't serve a second term. He finished Kennedy's term and then was elected on his own. He declined to run a second time. His health conditions weren't known during the 1964 election, and we'll never know if it would have been a factor in the 1968 election.

Hillary is not President and is running for the office, so knowledge of her health is part of the decision making process the voter has to go through. None of the others mentioned were in the same situation.

So the question is this: Does anyone see her dropping out? That's a long shot, but it would be a feather in the cap of any astrologer who calls it with an astrological explanation. No one looked for this. No one ever looked for this in any previous election.

The Democrats however have been here before. In 1972 they yanked the VP candidate, Thomas Eagleton over mental health concerns and the perception they might incur (he received electro shock treatments for depression, a not uncommon treatment at the time), and in 2002, they yanked the NJ candidate for the US Senate, Bob Toricelli over corruption charges, which became public knowledge after his nomination. His poll numbers tanked.

Since the states chose the manner of elections, what happens if Hillary or any candidate from any party does not or cannot fulfill the obligations of the candidacy? The requirements of getting the replacement on the ballot might vary some from state to state. In other words, the longer they wait, the tougher it will be to change things, if they must.

So here is a challenge for astrology. Can it be she will, voluntarily or otherwise, withdraw? I would bet "no," but that is a political opinion, not an astrological one. My first look at primary directions didn't reveal much - certainly nothing major. I prefer the 8:02 AM chart, and freely admit it could be wrong. That chart has Mercury (respiration), on the ASC in Mars (infection) ruled Scorpio. It fits, but only if she has pneumonia and if something triggers it. I don't believe she has pneumonia, but that's another story.

She has that Mars-Pluto-Saturn stellium in Leo -- universal in the charts of people born in later 1947 through somewhat early 1948. But it would need a trigger as well. Al Gore has it too. Hillary has it in the 9th house at 8:02 AM (Placidus). Saturn is in a tight square to her ASC - DSC axis. Mars Pluto is a partile conjunction that squares the ASC-DSC by sign. Saturn is in detriment in the 10th sign and Saturn debilitated in the 10th is significant. Hitler had it. JFK had it, and for newbies it signifies (doesn't guarantee) a fall from power. Nixon had it in the 9th I think.

Of course, if the birth time is miles off from 8:02 AM none of this matters much. But I think her chart, regardless of your favorite time, is worth a a revisit given the events of the past week.
