by PallasAthene re Backstage, I was thinking of the name symbolism. Pisces moon is a behind the scenes type of placement? My natal work isn't very good as you can tell Anyway, I'm probably on the wrong track as Dream alliance does seem to fit better. Quote Mon Apr 05, 2010 6:00 pm
by Goca As I said if race start on time I would pick up Backstage (Pl in Sa), but if start later then Dream Alliance, but that does not mean I am right, because in first case it is only upon name, but in second case Moon does not fit with male horse... 195 by PallasAthene Yes a definite lack of mares! http://skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic ... 62&start=0 Deb explains Bonatti's take on picking a winner. Looks like saturn rx in virgo ( 1st house) .. peregrine so an outsider, (like Mon Mome last year) but since just our of exultation, was a favourite/highly thought of in the recent past? A younger than your average saturn horse being rx in youthful virgo? Occidental of the sun (is that correct, rising after the sun since following it??) but oriental in the figure.. lol is that cancelled out? Also a bit paler than black (rx and need input on oriental/occidental) ... more than 1 owner for mercury.. colours belong to owner so mercury in taurus, maybe blue/green check or stripe? conj venus include circles? I always think venus is pink and pastel, am I wrong Goca? Quote Mon Apr 05, 2010 9:13 pm

by Goca According to colors Vic Venturi might be winner; Venturi is all about 5 house...(if it start on time, Pl). Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Thu Apr 08, 2010 2:06 pm
by PallasAthene I've looked at this chart so much I can see symbolism for most of the horses names! Pluto Yes, VV has good colours and some good symbolism My Will... Black Apalachi Abbeybranney (colours) Royal Rosa (colours) Moon in pisces Backstage Dream Alliance Palypso de Creek Hello Bud (colours) General chart.. saturn/pluto/uranus t square Comply or Die Don't Push it My Will Cant Buy Time Dream Alliance? (you'd want those planets on your side!) Unaspected sun in aries in 8th is a strong feature My Will Comply or Die Chart ruler, mercury in taurus Tricky Trickster Mon Mome.. stuborn kid! Beat the Boys.. owned by New Club Ladies and an outsider so fits Bonatti? And I keep looking at these but not really sure why! Irish Raptor Niche Market So that's about half the field covered! Hedging my bets? Quote Thu Apr 08, 2010 5:55 pm
by Ficina My usual approach is to look for a planet aspecting the MC. Moon is partile square but by the time the race starts (usually late) it will be past, so that's no good. Nothing else stands out so I'm looking at Moon's next aspect which is the sextile to Mercury. Three degrees is a bit wide; I'd prefer it to be closer but for lack of anything else.....I'll be putting a couple of bob each way on Tricky Trickster (Moon in Pisces sextile Mercury) and Don't Push It (Mercury in Taurus). 201 by PallasAthene Don't Push It.. works with pluto Rx and saturn Rx opposite uranus as well. And pisces can be slippery so Tricky Trickster looks good too. Add The Package to the mercury horses! Although Rex Bills give parcels to uranus and saturn??? o well, still fits then : ) Colours fit virgo/pisces if you let uranus add some zing. What I've realised is that because the race takes place at the same each year, we always have virgo rising so mercury is always the chart ruler.. and sun in aries in the 8th..doh! So not sure how relevant those significations can be. But sun in the 8th could contribute to this being a race known for its fatalities? Quote Thu Apr 08, 2010 11:01 pm
by Ficina Yes, unless Mercury stands out in some way, I wouldn't normally consider it because it will always rule the MC and Asc with the race starting at 4.15. (It used to start earlier.) However, with the Moon picking it up by aspect it might be more significant this year, who knows? We shall see.... Quote Fri Apr 09, 2010 9:40 am
by amandaW Am going away in 15 mins until Sat night so can't do this properly. But have had a quick look at the birthcharts of the horses this morning. 204 by PallasAthene Nice to see you here Amelia! Dream Alliance to win Don't Push It and Comply or Die to place. Can't decide on 4th. Nozic is interesting according to Bonatti... an outsider and owner (mercury, multiple) is coral (taurus) racing and the sun (9th..newspaper and joy of the sun)..hmm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Nozick Check this out.. he sounds like saturn opp uranus!
