Ah of course, silly me I'm sorry about Liverpool too; They definitely deserved to win Re:Moon opp POF I think this testimony tends to indicate that the faves won't win, but not necessarily that they'll lose. In my experience, DC team can win with this testimony, 60-70%, I'd say. Of course it depends on other testimonies, as you say. It favours DC team and is far more reliable than antiscial testimonies. 218 by Ficina Bayern 1 - 1 Zenit Rangers 0 - 0 Fiorentina Well, the underdogs didn't win but I think I'd call that a result for the radicality/affinity method At this rate there won't be any need to look at the rest of the chart at all! Quote Thu Apr 24, 2008 8:51 pm
by Gem Just to make sure people won't think I'm a promoter of Moon opp POF or believe that the testimony is trustworthy, I want to point out that I merely gave one of the reasons why I thought Man U would win. Barcelona were marginal faves; the chart wasn't radical; so I thought that particular testimony was enough for a team like Man U. Quote Fri Apr 25, 2008 2:12 pm
by Ficina No probs, Gem, I understand perfectly And I meant to say I absolutely agree that Moon opp POF is far more reliable than antiscia testimonies. As you know, I've always had a love/hate relationship with them. I tell myself to treat them with caution and then ignore my own advice! Quote Fri Apr 25, 2008 2:44 pm
by Andrew Bevan ManU-Barcelona, 18.45 GMT, April 29. Odds: 2,05 3,20 4,00 Asc 2SC14 MC 14LE37 Moon 23AQ47 POF 16LE12 The game is played on the Day of Mars and in the Hour the Moon. The chart is proven radical by the agreement between the powers of the Moon and the sign on the ascendant, ie. cold and moist, but Scorpio can not perform without the consent of its ruler, so Mars is the control planet. This weak type of radicality should protect ManU, who is the home team and favourite, but it does not guarantee their victory. There is a most spectacular translation of light from the Moon, who is Lady of the hour, and who applies to Mercury by a square, Mercury will translate her light to Mars, L1, since he applies to Mars by sextile. Mars is the control planet, so the translation does have the potential of bringing things home. In advantage Barcelona, the Sun, L10, is in the 7th. The cusp of the 7th is practically conjunct the exaltation degree of the Moon, but Venus, L7, is cadent and in a remote condition. The Moon is in the degree of the North Node together with Neptune, in the 4th house, which is the 10th from the 7th. I can't quite make the chart out. It doesn't look entirely easy for ManU and if Barcelona get a goal, then a draw will not do for the reds. I cannot see a safe bet. Anyone? http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Apr 29, 2008 6:30 am
by Ficina ManU/Barca The first thing that stood out to me in this chart was Venus (L7) VOC at 29 degs. The end of the road for Barca? Andrew, I felt sure you were going to point out that although the chart is radical, hour ruler Moon is in its fall in Scorpio, as you mentioned in the Bayern/Zenit game above. The hour ruler also has affinity with Desc. Both sides should score. Moon square Mercury might favour Barca since Mercury is received by Venus, but this hasn't proved totally reliable in the past, and in view of Andrew's very interesting observation re translation, this aspect could indeed favour ManU. Going by last night's results, Sun (L10) in 7th would appear to favour the Desc team although that doesn't really make sense to me with it being so far away from the angle. Fixed angles and fixed Moon might indicate extra time, but that could only happen if it's 0-0 after 90 mins. I agree it doesn't look entirely easy for ManU but I think they will win, possibly 2-1. 224 by Andrew Bevan I wondered whether the translation Moon to Mercury to Mars, L1, could mean through extra time. But both sides should be keen to score, so I doubt whether it will be an 0-0 draw after full time. http://www.astronor.com Quote Tue Apr 29, 2008 10:12 am
by Goca I cannot see a safe bet. Anyone? Me too! This is not safe for bet! Chart is so contradictory!! L7 is on last degree, but Moon conjunct North node in 4 house?! POF on MC but South Node in 10th house?! Planet strength Ma=4 Ve= -10. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Tue Apr 29, 2008 10:24 am

by leeleelee hello everyone. I'd chime in here. Sun (L10) conjunct antiscion Fortuna = Man Utd to win. Since it is a two legged game, I would also consider chart of the 1st leg. The first 2'30 = barce fav(asc) while the next 2'30 = Man Utd fav. Since Moon opp Fortuna at 1'44 = the game is already lost for barce during the 1st leg. Quote Tue Apr 29, 2008 11:31 am
