Event: August 6, 1844 Birth of Prince Alfred
On August 6, 1844 Victoria gave birth to her second son, Prince Alfred. She was 25 years old; the profection was in the 2nd. The Age Arc was 25º 12'.

• the directed 2nd is critical (Profection is in 2nd sign). The radix 2nd is in Gemini, which is on the 12th (confinement)
• the directed Moon (LoY, domestic concerns) is changing degree, moving from a sextile of the Sun (ruler of radix 5th) to a mitigated semi-sextile (conj) with the lot of Children, female which is itself changing degree, turning critical
• the other lot of Children, female is also changing degree, moving to conjunct the Sun (male)

On August 6, 1845 the Queen travelled to Belgium and then on to Germany and Prince Albert's birthplace. She was 26 years old, the Age Arc was 26º 12'.

There's a lot going on here, not all pleasant; checking the web, found that Helena's birth was a difficult one for Victoria. Wikipedia quotes a letter from Prince Albert to his brother shortly after her birth saying she was “born quite blue” and that Victoria “suffered longer and more than the other times and she will have to remain very quiet to recover.”

The profection is in the 5th whole sign, Libra, with Venus in profected 7th and ruling the profected 1st and 8th; radix 6th, co-rules the 12th where Taurus is intercepted.

Event: March 3, 1848 – Birth of a Daughter
On March 3, 1848 Victoria gave birth to her 6th child, and 4th daughter, Princess Louise. She was 28 years old. The Age Arc was 28º 46'.

Event: October 9, 1848 – Yacht crashes, 3 women drown

On October 9, 1848, while travelling from Osborne to Portsmouth aboard her yacht, the Fairy, it crashed into another boat, 3 woman drown; the Queen was 'haunted' by the tragedy. The Age Arc is 29º 23'

Event: October 30, 1849-Victoria confined to home with chicken-pox
On October 30, 1849 Victoria had to forego public appearances, being kept at home with a case of the chicken-pox. The Age Arc was 30º 26'.

• directed Venus, ruler of the profected 6th (illness) is critical, inconjunct (mitigated to an opposition by being in antiscion signs) the directed Dorothean lot of Death, and trine the radix lot of the Destroyer, both of which are also critical
• the directed Asc is changing degrees, moving out of the trine of directed Neptune, the sextile of the directed lot of Debilitated Bodies, and the trine of the Olympiodorus radix lot of Death while the radix Asc is in the trine of directed Uranus

There are no harsh directed aspects involving the malefics so its unlikely her life was in any danger from the illness and Jupiter (LoY and ruler of the radix 8th) was cadent in the 3rd in the profected chart (she was stopped from travelling) and connected to the Moon (ruler of the profected 8th) in the profected 6th, by trine.

On December 2nd, 1849 Queen Alexandria, the wife of King William IV, died; she had always treated Victoria with “motherly affection.” The Age Arc was 30º 32'.
