i share your perspective on how astrology is an art as much as anything else.. that is where i would put the emphasis .. everyone practices it differently too, using different means to shed light on theirs or others situation... in fact it was geoffrey cornielus in his book ' the moment of astrology' where he suggests there is something magical in the process... these are my words, but thinking one can be all scientific has it's limitations...
Hear! Hear!

Happy to be seeing eye to eye with you on something again, old buddy, old pal ;)

But what is "the same kind" from a cosmic point of view?
Here I am, sitting in the living room eating potato chips, drinking canned seltzer and listening to my phone ping at new email notifications because a gentleman in the forums is giving his sermon. Mumble to myself: Jakob, haven't you caused enough ruckus for one day?! lol

It is a cardinal error in the statistical analysis of astrology to regard two facts as the same or similar, which are clearly different in terms of energy, but which people with their limited minds use the same word to describe. That's why it's not surprising that the efforts to prove it have been so unsuccessful so far.

There is a similar phenomenon in medicine and psychology. Different illnesses are given the same names and no one is surprised when most things are declared to be uncurable, even though that is not true at all. But ok, neither are scientific disciplines in the strictest sense, which is why most chronic diseases are only managed and not cured.
