i do not take it personally, of course, since I know well enough you are not a horary astrologer, you have no experience and real knowledge of Horary astrology, and so your personal opinion about whether or not any horary chart is valid or not is not really based on anything solid, and bears no real significance.

The horary was about whether the "lot of rumour around the topic of biden dropping out ( much prior to him dropping out)" was real or not, a very common kind of horary, widely discussed in horary textbooks, with a special section dedicated to "Is the rumor true" question. My conclusion is you have never read a single horary textbook in your life and therefore your opinion is based on pure ignorance.

lol...if you are looking for someone who said "Joe Biden will drop out of the race for the White House on July 21, 2024 at 1:46 PM EDT", yup, I doubt you'll find it. And you're right, we are a rationalizing species and can retro-fit pretty much anything; but it seems very odd to me, given that 'prediction' is the basis of so many fields, that astrologers get so much grief for getting it wrong. If economists, statisticians, pollsters, pharmaceuticals, analysts in all fields, etc had to deal the with the blowback most astrologers face for wrong predictions there would be far fewer economists, analysts, etc. around today. Although, in hindsight, that might not be a bad thing

i think the idea of working with data one doesn't know to be valid can lead to all sorts of inaccurate or wrong predictions.. maybe it is human nature as opposed to a specific trait of astrologers, to work with questionable data.. astrologers are handicapped in not having access to birth data.. relying on ''memory'' and other such means continues to seem at best dubious to me..

You think you know everything, so you don't really need to actually learn Horary Astrology, but you can still have a strong opinion of it and judge which horary chart is valid and which isn't.

As astrologers we have numerous techniques from which to choose for our predictions which is why there will be various predictions for the same event such as the election of a president. I didn’t predict Biden’s resignation, but assumed his role as president wouldn’t continue due to illness or even death. In June 2023 I wrote on the sidereal forum about Biden’s 2023 solar return which covers the coming election date:

This 2023 solar return is not the chart of a head of state. Double Neptunes cross the asc/desc axis. Fagan school astrologers will tell us that an angular Neptune represents political defeat or invisibility in return charts.

In the ennead (40 day chart) for Biden which covers the date of his withdrawal in July 2024 these Neptunes were on the zenith/nadir.

Forum members who read my posts know that I’ve chosen the sidereal solar return and ennead for prediction which divides the solar year into nine parts of 40 days, much like some astrologers use monthly charts for the solar year. I believe the charts below, particularly the June 19 chart, tell us that sidereal ennead charts are valid for prediction, and also that we have a correct birth time for Kamala Harris.

The first chart covers the 40 day period when Joe Biden withdrew his candidacy for president for the coming election. This immediately and suddenly capitulated Kamala Harris into the eyes of the world as the most likely presidential candidate to replace Joe Biden. This ennead chart is set for June 19 and runs until July 31.

In the chart below the natal chart is on the inner wheel, and the present ennead and cusps on the outer wheel. Cusp lines are the centers of equal houses, not the initial point. Tropical astrologers who read this post should mainly note planets near the angles if sidereal signs are confusing. However, in the case of Kamala Harris, the same signs are on the tropical and sidereal Asc/Dec and zenith/nadir which helps to avoid confusion.



In this ennead chart natal Jupiter, 10th lord, is in the degree of the ascendant opposed by transiting Moon on the 7th cusp. Transiting Uranus (sudden change in status) conjoins the ascendant and Jupiter.

Jane has pointed out the unhappy condition of Kamala Harris’ 10th lord Jupiter, retrograde, peregrine in the 12th house (tropical). We can ask with this position why has Harris reached the position of Vice President in a country that has the world’s respect?

In the Krisnamurti sidereal zodiac Jupiter hasn’t even completed the first degree of the sign which India views as a very weak position. The only answer for this question is that Jupiter happens to be in the Sun’s lunar mansion/star and Rahu’s sub (The sub divides each planetary period into nine parts.) Thus Jupiter brings the results of the Sun (status) and powerful natal Rahu/north node (also power and status) on Harris’ ascendant.

In this ennead transiting Sun is on the natal ascendant and Rahu. The Sun always shines for political status. Transiting Jupiter is in the first house making a one degree trine to the M.C. Pluto (new beginnings) conjoins the MC. There’s no question that this is an extremely significant chart. But it covers only a period of 40 days and does not predict the outcome of the coming election. Kamala Harris’ next ennead is coming soon, July 31, and covers the period of the Democratic convention where the presidential candidate is chosen.




This chart has transiting Jupiter on the ascendant in the first house conjunct transiting Moon. Both trine the ennead MC. Jupiter is in the Moon’s mansion/star well placed natally on the 11th cusp. This is a positive indication that Harris’ will be the chosen presidential candidate. Jupiter can also represent her running mate since Jupiter is her natal 7th lord. (Ennead Jupiter is in Ketu/south node’s sub, Ketu being in Harris’ natal 7th house.)

Retrograde transiting Saturn high in the chart in the 10th house squares these Jupiter/Moon and opposes the natal triad of Uranus, Pluto and Venus. How do we interpret this very important position of Saturn? In Harris’ natal chart Saturn is well placed in its own sign on the 9th (equal) cusp. Using the Krishnamurti rules for planetary results, ennead Saturn is in Jupiter’s lunar mansion (natal 10th lord) and Mercury sub.

As the sub planet is supposed to dictate fortune or misfortune, natal Mercury is Harris’ ascendant lord well placed in the 5th house. So we would expect ennead Saturn to highlight career interests and partnership (Jupiter as natal 10th and 7th, running mate, lord) in a positive (Mercury) way.

As ennead Saturn partile opposes natal Venus in the 4th, we can expect that during this time period Harris’ political life would be difficult for home and husband, which makes perfect sense for a presidential candidate. I don’t think this opposition says anything about her political life and career as such.

Ennead Rahu is on the 11th cusp, house of helpful friends of status (political party?) in Saturn’s mansion (supporting natal Saturn in 9th) and Jupiter’s sub (natal 10th lord). This Rahu is also trine ennead Sun in the 3rd, which represents all matters of communication.

Transiting Mars is on the ascendant which can simply indicate the massive amount of expended energy of any new presidential candidate. This Mars is in the Moon’s mansion (fortunate as natal Moon is on the 11th cusp and rules 2nd, money; Noted by Starz4U on the horary topic: “She broke a record receiving over 100 million dollars in less than two days.”) and Rahu’s sub (strong on the natal ascendant).

So if I’m reading this ennead correctly (always that question!!), Kamala Harris will be chosen as the presidential candidate for the Democratic party. There is no really open opposition to her bid in this ennead chart. It’s possible that the prominent presence of Saturn in this chart suggests that Harris won’t end up as president. I’ve done the ennead charts for the 2025 inauguration and hope to post them soon.

Thanks for reading! Yes, I'll try to post something about the election period. I've done the charts. But first I'll post a few notes about Kamala Harris' present solar return. There are so many different ways to look at that return, both tropical and sidereal!

Kamala Harris' 2023 Sidereal Solar Return



As usual in my sidereal charts the house lines are the centers of houses, and I always use the equal division of 30 degree houses measured from the ascendant degree.

I know this is hindsight, but Kamala’s 2023 sidereal solar return does look like it reflects a significant and dramatic year. Traditional sidereal interpretation (Fagan/Bradley) always emphasizes the importance of planets in the angles or in close aspect to the angles.

Right away in Kamala Harris’ solar return we notice the SR part of fortune with Rahu (north node) at the zenith conjoined to natal Moon which lies on the benefic natal 11th cusp. These positions are squared by the Moon/Pluto conjunction near the SR 7th cusp. As the Moon is the SR ascendant lord, this conjunction could very well suggest a radical (Pluto) change related to the presidential partner. Note that SR Rahu is in Ketu's star and sub, Ketu being placed on Kamala's natal 7th cusp, her dramatic rise in status being due to the withdrawal (Ketu?) of her presidential partner.

I would say presidential partner rather than personal partner/husband because the action in this SR chart is in the 10th house, and there is no emphasis on Venus which represents one’s personal partner in affection. (And for western sidereal astrologers Pluto in this chart is the co-ruler of Aries, the 10th sign which clearly links the 7th and 10th SR houses.)

This SR Moon/Pluto sets off the natal opposition of Moon in Aries opposed to the Sun and Mercury. And transiting Ketu (south node), Sun, Mercury and Mars conjoined to natal Sun/Mercury are all receiving the SR Moon/Pluto 90 degree aspect.. So SR Moon/Pluto activates all these natal/SR planets in the SR 10th/4th (equal) houses.

We also notice right away the two elevated Jupiters, transiting Jupiter in the SR 10th house. Natal Jupiter falls in the (equal) SR 11th of helpful friends of status. Jupiter always brings the attention of the masses, so I look for Jupiter (as well as the Sun) in election and inauguration charts. Notice that in the present dramatic ennead chart (posted previously in this thread), both of these Jupiters are in the first house, natal Jupiter being in the ennead ascendant degree.

(I also noted that the double angular Neptunes (1st/7th houses) in Biden’s present solar return turned up on the zenith/nadir axis in his withdrawal ennead, so this seems to be one clue to “progressing” the solar return chart.) I am always learning!!
