They did, but they dropped dramatically again the following day. Think it's reached a point where it is not the tariffs, alone, that are the problem but the uncertainty surrounding everything that is emanating from the US Admin; the Uranus effect?

you did no wrong... i am sorry if i caused you any angst with my commentary, as that wasn't my intent either.. well now we know we both have the same tropical sun and rising sign, but we don't know the most important ingredient - the moon!

i understand the reason for the astrological dissection of any moment in time.. i just about finished reading a canadian astrologer author - alan annand, who has written a number of books on astrology and more.. the book is called 'stellar astrology'. i refer to it all as 'hindsight' astrology.. nothing wrong with any of it and yes, we can learn from it too.. but i think their are larger forces at work that make trying to understand them very difficult with various moments in passing.. it makes sense to try to extrapolate the future thru important moments in time.. we will never really know what the future holds until we get their, but for those who have an interest in finding a way to peer into the future, astrology is helpful... just how helpful is up for debate..

i continue to believe - and i have stated this here at skyscript at various times, the usa-american empire is in a state of decline.. i made a post on the 250 year pluto cycle and the various charts for the usa for 1776 area - we are coming up to the 250th anniversary next year... i have said this numerous times, but because it is more general and essentially vague, it is difficult to impossible to predict a specific moment to pin this idea on... clearly though the inauguration chart for trump here in 2025 is an important chart for consideration and i think in the scheme of charts to consider, it would need to be one to reference any action that the trump administration takes from that moment forward..

if i can use this analogy with astrology, i think the potential to see the trees, but not the forest, or the forest, but not the trees is always possible.. i object to pinning everything that happens here on trump.. obviously trump is a catalyst here so a consideration of his natal chart is also quite relevant..

i have had little to no success with ingress charts.. perhaps other charts considered important in the astrological tradition - jupiter-saturn conjunctions and etc. etc. may have some useful relevance here.. i know for a fact that astrologers have a special talent for drawing conclusions on a wide array of charts - after the fact, but very little predictions are made in advance with the same charts.. that is an objective slap in the face to the astrological community, but i stand by that..

i waver in my ongoing belief or beliefs in astrology.. it is not that i don't believe in astrological cycles and their relevance, but in terms of astrologers specifically making predictions - i see little to none of it.. consider my commentary in this broader context, and not as a direct response to anything you've said.. cheers james

Hi James ... thanks, in the future, will keep what you've said in mind. It's not so much the predicting that bothers me (I think every chart reading, implicitly, is made up of predictions, whether of character, relationships, or events) it is identifying the most likely outcomes and getting their timing right that has always stressed me out; always feel that I am missing something fundamental somewhere...hence all my reading and toiling over various techniques...ah well, keeps me out of trouble, usually...lol
