A good weekend to test the number of goals when Moon is in both saturn and jupiter ruled signs.
Certainly, but I'd suggest this only applies to the one-off matches and perhaps not the 3pm games. Compare the first weekend of the season and you'll see what I mean. I'm not sure if it can be used as a blanket approach, but we'll see what transpires today.

Liverpool v ManU, 12.45pm BST, Asc 22,08 Scorpio

ManU are marginally odds-on faves. Moon sextile POF (just over 1 deg) favours ManU. Antiscion Mars (L1) conj IC in 3rd (just over 1 deg) favours Liverpool. I've gone for a 0-0 draw.

Note to John: I don't think there are sufficient modifiers in the SF chart search to find antiscion of ruler of Asc conj IC or is there a way round this?

Liverpool/ManU

I went for a draw initially but it looks slightly better for ManU.... The radicality is weak and there's Satrun sitting on the MC... I'll go for ManU :) (maybe I should say I'm only hoping)

I've just read:
Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres have both been declared fit to face Manchester United.

Now I'm definitely less optimistic.

It applies to Jupiter, then Saturn. Hmm...
The radicality is weak
Mercury is hour ruler so it's radical by triplicity. Mars and Merc in same sign which has indicated a draw in the past although I'm not sure how consistent this has been.

I've tried this approach and failed with Solar Fire. The nearest I can get is the 'In Aspect' tab. You can do antision of 'x' planet applying/seperating to conjunction with the 4th house cusp.
You can then add the 'is planet' tab for traditional ruler of 1st house cusp is 'x' planet.
You have to repeat the task for each planet.

This means that the search is antision of 'x' planet conjunct 4th house cusp AND traditional ruler of 1st house cusp is 'x' planet

The nearest I have for antision Mars was the recent Chelsea Tottenham game although a bit wide.
I have the Cameroon Egypt game in the African Nations but I don't have the score for this one. (antision sun)

I've also gone for a draw for Liverpool Man U

Thanks, John, I thought it might have to be a search for one planet at a time.

Well, that's my first scoreline prediction down the pan :( ManU are already 1-0 up! The game kicked off 3 mins late which stretches the ant Mars/IC orb to the limits.

Gem, you probably know this now, but Gerrard and Torres are both on the bench - apparently not fully fit yet.

I initially had a 2-1 prediction for Manchester, but changed it to a 1-1 draw this morning....

Who would have thought that Liv would beat Manchester??

The radio commentators said Liverpool deserved to win. I shall notch it up as a point for antiscial emplacement, even though I thought it might be too wide and insufficient for an underdog win. And talking of points...

I must say I managed to scrounge together 5 points - but do I see a pattern here for the diverging scores - NO WAY!

However you did it, Susie, well done! 5 points is really good :D I have managed to scrounge one measly point, thanks to Chelsea, and at least that was based on astrology - Moon trine POF.

Stoke v Everton, 1.30pm BST, Stoke on Trent, Asc 1,35 Sag

Everton are faves but not odds-on. Moon partile conj antiscion Mercury (L7), then sextile Jupiter (L1). I'm not really sure how this one will work out but I've gone for a draw.
