I wonder whether this is due to something outside the normal pattern. Maybe it has something to do with Saturn in VIRGO in the 4th house, who is in its tight opposition to Uranus in the 10th that turns (inverts) the SCALES? Mercury, dispositor of Saturn, the two of them being in mutual reception, is Void of Course.

Lots of things seem back to front. Capitalism isn't working. Stockmarkets do not know which way to turn. National economies are caving in. Here is me looking towards Britain to see whether somebody's grandmother is the cause of a change of plans as regarding who should lead the country, and instead Obama goes and looses his Grandmother on the day prior the US presidental election. Slightly off-topic, but we live in perculiar times. The total picture might be trying to add up a message... . It is beyond me at present - but I suggest we keep observing and gather our thoughts.

Well, the Moon sitting on Cusp 7 did control the situation, by accidental dignity, if nothing else. I'm making a note to myself here!

I woke up this morning finding my brain working through client files trying to expalin what happened in yesterdays soccer games:

The Lady of the ascendant, the Moon, who also is a natural significator of the Mother, is detriment in Capricorn, opposes the ascendant, the birth of the native, and is joined to Jupiter, Lord of the 10th, the Mother, Jupiter being in his fall. Mercury, who is Lord of the 4th, the father, is Void of Course. The Sun unaspected. Then there is this tight opposition between Saturn and Uranus going across the 4th and the 10th houses, Father and Mother.

This reminds me of cases where the charts belonged to people adopted from distant countries. The situation of the mother and the father collapses and the child looses its origination, home and roots. With the 'grounding' lost I found it to be as if the 'bottom plate' was missing in the chart and personality, causing an inheret emotional weakness or vulnerability that was compensated by an ADHD diagnosis and behaviour.

Translating into sports there appears to something that aborts or disrupts the success of the venture in term of the favourites. The adoptive parents play the part of the underdog that get the children. I might point out that am not trying to explain or say anything about natives who may be expecting children at this particular point in time.

Does that make any sense??

Location, location, location! I think we'd be hard-pressed to find a previous example where L1 slap bang on an angle hasn't produced a win for the home team, even when they're the underdogs. It seems to outrank all other testimonies. Unfortunately I chose to take these other testimonies into account and this led me astray. The fact that L1 was the Moon confused me, as I mentioned beforehand. Oh well, I live and learn

As for Andrew's Championship game, I couldn't see any indicators for Coventry's win in that chart

Leeds are favourites, but seeing the lord of the hour is on the turn, and that POF is conjunct Mercury, L4, and the Moon applies to that same planet by trine; Jupiter, L10, being in the 7th but in his fall and without applications - I do consider it possible that Leeds could have a bad day and the draw could result. Seeing that POF is conjunct the degree of the fall of the Moon and intercepted in Scorpio, maybe a nill-nill draw? The price for a 0-0 draw is 9,00:1.

Anyone else with an opinion?

Some confusing testimonies here, so I can see how a draw might be a possibility. Thanks for posting this, Andrew, because it gives me an opportunity to test out a few things that I've been observing recently.

Moon (L1) partile trine POF - a big positive for Leeds. Moon trine Mercury (L4) - a fairly reliable indicator that Northampton will score. I shall boldly (rashly?) discount Mercury conj POF because it isn't partile; also Jupiter (L10) conj Desc in 7th because it did nothing for Villa in their game against Newcastle last week. I'll go for 2-1 Leeds and we'll see what happens

I go with you, Ficina. I won't go with the scoreline, but I'll give Leeds my support. I decided to play a combination of 3 games this evening: Leeds, St. Patrick's & Cercle Brugge. I didn't check the astrology for the last two...

But I noticed one thing: Instead of putting ?10 on the triplet with total odds 3,47 - I can play 3 duplets of a total ?15. If I get all three matches correct then the prize is ?34 (almost equal to putting ?10 on a triplet) but if I get one match wrong then I still collect ?10 on the one duplet. This way I can get any one match wrong and my losses are reduced to ?5.

We will have to see whether this is a good strategy in practice...
The Moon and Mercury are in a condition I have been terming 'a rejection' for the last 20 years. They are in eachothers fall and abhor eachother.

The draw would have brought in a grand prize, but the duplets mean that I am only ?3 short of my original stake - instead of going with Leeds in a triplet and loosing ?10. That was an useful exercise.

The game starts in the hour of Venus. Radical by triplicity - again the draw is an option after 90 minutes full time. Stabaek won the league with Vaalerenga on the lower half of the table. Both are local teams. Vaalerenga is one of the traditional Oslo-teams, but Stabaek is but a 15 minute drive out of town.

Mars opposes POF, but the sextile of the Moon appears more exact. The question may seem to be who to alot the ascendatn. Jupiter, L10, is in the ascendant and applies to Saturn, L1. Moon sextile POF goes with the favourite, but I wouldn't mind giving Vaalerenga the ascendant. Presently, I think we will see the draw. This may be a difficult chart to discuss since member obviously are not familiar with Norwegian football.

Leeds/Northampton game kicked off 5 mins late, by which time Mercury was partile conj POF and Moon was no longer partile trine POF! However, I won't make that an excuse for getting it wrong because more often than not we have no idea if a match actually starts on time. At least Northampton scored
