by Andrew Bevan Even if it was an own goal and Newcastle put it in the net for them. This evening the 2nd leg in the play-off between Reading and Burnley. Burnley won the first round 1-0. The Moon is 2CP47 conj Pluto 2CP56. This has Burnley written all over it. I have Reading noted down as Virgo or Gemini with a Mercurian or Lunar influence. Mars, L1, is conjunct the antiscia of Saturn. The game is played in the hour of the Moon who has the same powers as the sign on the ascendant. Burnley are ahead and I think they will advance. http://www.astronor.com
by Ficina Even if it was an own goal and Newcastle put it in the net for them. Yes, both sides deserve to go down really. Perhaps West Brom will pull off a great escape act
by Andrew Bevan Harry Houdini - I thought that was Tottenham?? But what about HULL, Ficina. Now it really looked at if they were heading for the top when the season started. What happened?? http://www.astronor.com
by Ficina Re Reading/Burnley, the Moon/Pluto conjunction suggests that the home team/faves (Reading) will be annihilated. At least this is what tends to happen when it's a significator that's conjunct Pluto. The aspect perfects 20 minutes into the game so it will be interesting to see what happens then, if anything. Re Hull, they are now where everybody expected them to be before the season started. The fact they did so well at the start was the surprise, as I mentioned in the separate thread on Hull. Jupiter transiting back and forth over their Moon at that time shows that they 'overperformed' somewhat. Anyway there are two more games to go so we'll see how it all turns out.

by Andrew Bevan There not a 'lot' of soccer going on at the moment, but here are at least some interesting charts that we can discuss: In the Polish Cup: Ruch Chorzow - Lech Poznan, 20.00 CST 50N18 18E57 Odds: 3,50 3,25 2,05 Asc 24SC30 MC 15VI12 Moon 27PI01 POF 22VI38 Day of Mars, Hour of Moon - radical because the Moon shares the same powers as the Scorpio ascendant, i.e. cold and moist, but the Lady of the Hours has greater dignity on the 7th. Saturn at 14VI55 is conjunct the MC. The Moon in the 4th translates the virtue of retrograde Mercury, L10, back to the Sun in the 7th. Venus, L7, casts her antiscia to the MC. I believe these to be testimonies in advantage to the guests, who are favourites by odds. The price is good. The Irish Cup: Wexford Youths - Bohemians Dublin, 20.00 BST 52N38 18W56 Odds: 6,50 3,70 1,45 Asc 15SC48 MC 4VI23 Moon 27PI34 POF 14VI26 Day of Mars, Hour of Mercury - not radical I am unsure how to get at this chart. The Bohemians should win by default, but the Wexford Youth have had some great results of late. Cup is cup. Here we see Saturn in the 10th conjunct POF. I am not sure whether this is an fortification or a detriment. However, Venus, L7, is still on the antiscia of Saturn in the 10th (although they are inconjunct by aspect) and the Moon does apply to the sextile of the Sun. http://www.astronor.com
by Andrew Bevan Ruch Chorzow - Lech Poznan 0 - 1 Wexford Youths - Bohemians Dublin 1 - 2 Two away wins it was! http://www.astronor.com
by Andrew Bevan As forcast under the thread titled 'The Battle of Oslo', I will go for a draw in the Oslo-derby between Lyn and Valerenga on Thursday. But here is another match I like, which happens to be another local derby: GAIS - IFK Goteborg, 17.00 CST Gothenburg Odds: 5,00 3,60 1,70 Asc 17LI00 MC 24CN25 Moon 22AR05 POF 8VI23 Day of Jupter, Hour of Mars - L1 and Lhr in same sign; Radical. Sadly, this match lack an individual time, but view the Moon, L10, applying to Mars, L10, in the 7th house. Venus, L1, is on the cusp of the 7th and on the antiscia of Saturn, L4. CST Gothenburg, who are the favourites should have no problem in securing a victory. http://www.astronor.com
by Andrew Bevan May 21. Denmark, Dong Cup - Final; FC Copenhagen - Aab Aalborg, 15.00 CST Odds: 1,55 3,80 6,00 Asc 27VI55 MC 27GE07 Moon 20AR56 POF 18LE14 Day and hour of Jupiter - not radical. A lot of funny things with this game. Some betmakers list the game as Aab Aalborg - FC Copenhagen because the game is supposively played at a neutral ground, the national stadion, Parken, in Copenhagen. Coincidently, this is the home ground of FC Copenhagen. I think FC Copenhagen will win. It is hard to explain, but the Lord of the Day and Hour, Jupiter, at 26AQ04, is trine the Midheaven. I chose to ignore Jupiter being L7, because the ground is defined as 'neutral'. POF in Leo, trine Luna. The Moon applies to Mars in his own sign, Aries. I go with the favourites. http://www.astronor.com
by Andrew Bevan FC Copenhagen - Aab Aalborg 1 - 0 The one and only goal being scored 31 minutes into the first half. GAIS - IFK Goteborg 0 - 1 I got the double! http://www.astronor.com
