by Ficina Well called, Andrew and Kuvaldis 88th minute goal - phew! Quote Fri Jun 26, 2009 9:47 am
by taurean I've analyzed a bit more the Spain-USA match. (My motivation probably comes from losing money on that match. Not a big amount, not at all. But I'm looking for the cause(s) of the surprise.) What Andrew said right after the game, I mean day Mercury, hour Mercury, and the sign of US being Gemini - fair enough, it may be a testimony. Ficina wrote that "I couldn't see any reason for giving USA the Asc but the chart makes more sense that way" - with respect, I would argue. I have read the previously linked thread about the planetary colors. Deb and Andrew has put a list there. Who are our rulers here: Saturn and Sun. OK maybe I'm cheating, quoting from different contributors, but Deb says "Saturn ? lacks lustre and colour-depth. Varies from white, grey and black". while Andrew says "Sun - bright yellow, orange, gold, royal red." According to the bolded part, Saturn could be USA, Spain Sun. But there should be other testimonies pointing to this surprise. Let's see the arabic parts. We have one partile aspect! POF (night) 16Cap09, Saturn 16Vi10. It's a very nice trine! OK, I know that we should use the daily POF, but still, I wanted to mention this. And, as we know, POF Night equals POS (Part of spirit) Day. So something is definitely there at 16Cap09! There is one more quite partile aspect. An opposition between Sun 03Can22 and Part of success at 03Cap06. If I'm counting right at this late hour, this POSuccess is Asc + Jupiter - POFday. So Saturn has a good aspect, Sun has a bad aspect, may these circumstances, among others, cause the downfall of the Spanish? Quote Fri Jun 26, 2009 9:26 pm
by Andrew Bevan Thanks Taurean. It seams like Mercury was a good testimony for USA (Gemini) in the same way as Saturn indicates Sweden (Aquarius) and Mars indicates England (Aries) in todays charts for the semi in the European Cup U21. There are so many things to be taken into consideration. A creative mind is a necessity. 28 by Andrew Bevan June 28 - Confederations Cup Bronze final: Spain ? South Africa, 15.00 CST Rustenburg 25S40 27E14 Odds: 1,57 3,80 6,00 Asc 1SG26 MC 16LE32 Moon 25VI14 POF 19AQ41 Day Sun, Hour Mercury ? radical by triplicity with Jupiter POF is trine Mercury through signs of short ascension. The natural move would be to give South Africa the ascendant. Then Spain is the descendant and picks up on the fortitudes of Mercury. Spain should get it, but with the possibility of a draw. Final: USA ? Brazil, 20.30 CST Johannesburg 26S15 28E04 Odds: 7,50 4,60 1,42 Asc 17AQ56 MC 15SC01 Moon 28VI21 POF 9TA06 Day Sun, Hour Sun ? not radical POF is sextile Sun, Lord of Hour The Moon is VOC in Virgo that rules Brazil Saturn, L1, is sextile MC through signs of Long ascension, however, this last aspect disappointed last time. I would say that it looked like Brazil?s day, but the lack of radicality and a possible cooling from Saturn could bring about either draw or a suprize. It is confusing when the Sun, Ldy+Hr, rules the 7th of the challenger. And then there is that VOC Moon which can add to the element of the unexpected. Let this be a starting point for discussion. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sat Jun 27, 2009 7:51 pm
by Goca By colour method Brazil is also ASC. Essential dignities for Su and Sa are the same. Accidental dignities for Sa=7 for Su=1, advantage for ASC team. Moon is VOC, so we can expect draw or favourite wins. Favourite is Brazil, and because it can not be draw, it is final, at the end I expect Brazil to win (more acc.dig). One more think, if you bet, think twice, because APOF is close to DSC, according to J Frawley most strong testimoni for winner, i.e. win for USA. BUt on the other hand we have MOON VOC(nothing new will happen), so I go for Brazil regarding that aspect, but I do not bet, you know Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 9:30 am
by Ficina Hi Goca, By colour method Brazil is also ASC. I'd been presuming Brazil would wear their usual yellow and therefore be Leo/Sun, i.e. Desc; and Taurean made a case for USA being Saturn when they were wearing white in the semi final, which would make them Asc. Do you think the teams will be wearing different colours tonight? Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 10:05 am
by taurean I can't see partile (I mean when the orb is smaller than 1?) arabic part aspects to L1 or L7, for these games, only those that Andrew mentioned. Re Spain game, though Spain might be the Ascendant (Jupiter might be clear red, or simply darker than the Mercury team), nevertheless I would give the Ascendant to S.A. as home team. And that POF trine really help the Descendant team. Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 10:33 am
by Goca Yes, I think USA will wear white sport kit, quite appropriate with Su(bright) in Can(white), because that means one colour, in contrast with ruler of ASC, which is Brazil, and which is in double sing, Vi, and Brazil have 2 colours sport kit, blue (Sa) and white(Vi). Vi also is connected with yellow, so if thay wear yellow/blue it is appropriate again. Greetings, Goca http://www.astrosport07.webs.com http://fensi88.livejournal.com/ Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 10:51 am
by Ficina Thanks for the detailed explanation, Goca. I know you've had a lot of experience using the colour method. I still find it a bit of a minefield sometimes. Spain/South Africa Well, common sense says that Spain should win, even though that's what everyone thought when they played USA! There are two indications for a draw. Hour ruler and Asc ruler in same triplicity and Moon opp Uranus. So I think I'm with Andrew on this one, i.e. Spain should get it, but with the possibility of a draw. Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:17 am
by Ficina Spain 2 - 2 South Africa SA took the lead and it looked like they were going to win but Spain scored two goals in the 88th & 89th minutes! Then SA equalised in the third minute of stoppage time. Wow! Extra time now being played..... Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:11 pm
by Andrew Bevan Final result Spain/South Africa 3-2 We did well! Poor South Africa - what a show! I agree also with Taurian giving Brazil the 7th in the final. This could be argued both by color + the fact the the 7th is ruled by the lord of the hour. If USA play anything like they did against Spain, then Saturn, L1, sextile the MC would indicated their attempt to control the final against Breazil in a similar defensive but intelligent fashion as last. I am wrestling with myself in which way to go here. There is also the possibility of the VOC Moon in Virgo incapacitating Brazil. I also have the preceding zyzygy in mind (Sun/Moon opp Pluto) that had underdog written all over it. (Even Michael Jackson was an underdog according to race, background and history). The Moon's anticia is square Pluto. Pluto is on the Asc/MC midpoint. The preceding syzygy DOES relate to the angles of this chart by this midpoint. The Moon square's Pluto after entering Libra. This is a game I do not want to bet on - but my verdict would be that 7,5:1 was a good price for the USA, if someone wanted to make the gamble. I also think that if USA does get it, then there has been offered an explaination for charts that don't work out as expected due to observing the wide picture, as like including a different perspective of the VOC Moon and the preceding the syzygy. http://www.astronor.com Quote Sun Jun 28, 2009 5:23 pm
by Ficina You've made some very interesting points, Andrew. The USA/Brazil chart lacks testimonies and is rather disappointing in my view. It's not radical but hour ruler Sun is L7. If Brazil are the Desc, then my guess is that this would favour them or at least balance out the disadvantage of non-radicality. Anyway, let's hope it's an enjoyable game. I shall be rooting for USA, simply because they are the underdogs Almost time for kick-off and I see that Brazil are in their usual yellow shirts/blue shorts and USA in all white.
