Thank you for taking the time to check my timing. I wanted to respond sooner but I wanted to take a look at my natal transits before responding to see if I can find a correspondence between your timing and my transits.

Moon opp Saturn, Moon at 4 Aries, transit 7th 9 Aries, so within 8 deg of radix and transit angles but in both cases the Moon is cadent

From Jan 27th to the end of the month, transiting Jupiter will sextile my MC. At the same time, I have Pluto trining my natal Sun which is conjunct my MC. Then Jupiter goes on to sextile my sun from Feb 4th to the 8th. At the same time, Pluto is going back and forth trining my MC or my sun (which is a degree away from my MC), I just got the first hit.

So all of this sounds pretty good, and the Pluto part seems to tie in with what you say:

Virgo is intercepted in the 6th in the radix and Saturn's 0 Libra position suggests new circumstances so I thought there might be a possibility that transit Mercury entering a new sign and trine Saturn, it's dispositor and ruler of radix 10th, might be relevant.

However, still no job. While the transits look good and I love the Pluto action, but it doesn't seem to be materializing. I have actually been contacted by 3 recruiters since the new year. The first one I didn't have all the qualifications so they went with another candidate. The 2nd opportunity is in the works, it's a 4 month contract with very good money and lots of international travel. But i don't think I am fully qualified for that position either, and the third job is local, but I've only talked to the recruiter and not sure if it will ever get to the hiring manager - will find out next week about both of these opportunities next week.

Thanks for your response. I know some people have taken the 6th for job questions, but in this forum (and as per Lilly, etc.) the 10th is always taken for job horaries. I wasn't sure as to how you were connecting Jupiter as having some meaning in this horary? Thanks again.

Well, Jupiter is considered the greater benefic and since he is actively involved in the chart I thought it appropriate to think about what he might represent here. Their longitude orb is rather wide but the declination is only a few degrees.

What you say could be indicative of the contract position that I mentioned in my previous post - the one with all the international travel. However, I don't think I will get that one. Let's see how it goes...

I got a job offer yesterday, Feb 9th. The job is with a company that does stem cell research and stores data for donors. It is a profitable company and it's a good offer. The job came out of nowhere through a recruiter that had contacted me in early November, but seemed to remember me and called me back in Feb. I interviewed and landed the job all within a week.The question was "Will I get a job in 6 weeks" - I got the job in about 12 weeks. It's a contract position for 3 months, but it could get extended. I was wondering if in retrospect we can see all of these indications in the chart? The chart showed perfection, but only after the Moon changed signs. However, I'm not sure how my state has changed, except that I used to work for an IT company and an investment bank, and now I will be working for a company that is in the pharmaceutical industry. It doesn't really make that much difference to me. Any thoughts on this? How would you interpret the change in sign for this horary? And the timing?

First off, congrats!

While this is all "Monday morning quarterbacking", taking the application of the Moon to Saturn by trigon as granting the job, as the Moon would be in a double-bodied sign when the application perfects, I'd take that as a doubling of the time represented by the arc of the perfection of the aspect, namely appox. 6 degrees, so therefore 12 units of time.

Congrats on landing the job Taurus Feb 9th was one of the dates that came up in the timing exercise I tried, maybe Paul's method does work if the Moon is close to an angle but cadent; however, I think GR's explanation of the 'double-bodied' sign doubling the period units may be a better explanation.

About 14 weeks after your question you got the offer. When we take your mainsignificator Mars instead of your cosignificator, the Moon, for the timing, then he became retrograde not before 19?41' that is after a distance of 11?15'. He then had to pass his original position at 8?26' by about 4?46' to perfect his trine to Saturn in 3?40' (about). If we take the half of 4?46' (the half because this is a way back which he had made already before the question; perhaps there is a rule to be found for this?), that is 2?23' and add this to 11?15', then we are very near to the 14 weeks with this sum of 13?41' if all the calculations are correct.
